Due to botched hip replacement surgery at 75 years old, I can't get out of bed on my own. This chair is now where I sleep. I pretty much live in the chair. It's holding up well. I do wish the footrest would raise a little higher, but it is nearly level. Easy to set up. Leather is still looking good. I must use the motors at least 15 times a day and they are still working fine. Handsome chair and does lay out nearly flat. Best one I found. Because I am in it 20 hours or more per day, both sitting up and sleeping, I have three pillows in it. One cushions my hips and rear, one for my lower back and the last one for my head. I toss a blanket or sheet over all the pillows which seems to hold them in place. Chair is allowing me to stay home and out of the nursing home. Worth every penny and would buy again.

This recliner very comfortable. I sleep in it and I was afraid it it either being too cold in the winter or sweaty in the summer. It’s not. It’s beatable leather. Silly feeling. It reclines all the way back for sleeping and sits upright when you wants to sit up. Its “home” position is with the back slightly reclined but you can use a button to getting it upright. The price is right up my alley. It’s got a handle to use to get it into any position in just a short time. But it’s faster than any other recliner I’ve had. It’s easy to use. The buttons on the remote handle are easy to use and clearly marked. The only reason I marked ut as a 4/5 was the footrest is lower than the seat so I can’t get my legs high enough. The weight is just right. I easily put it together mysejf. I got the boxes from ff my pitch by rolling them in the door. I would say that this is more of a woman’s chair or a smaller man. The performance is good.

The appearance is nice and the fabric is soft. The assembly was simple except for the amount of effort it took to get the pieces together. Tongue and groove attachments are fine unless they are attached to cushioned objects. The chair is comfortable except for the footrest. That is the only thing with minimal cushioning and after sitting in a reclined position for a while my legs start to get irritated from the hard surface. The massage is nice and soothing. The heat feature is not very effective though because I can't tell it's on. Update: feet hanging off footrest and I'm 5'3. One side of the backrest doesn't seem to be aligned right despite several checks to see if it's in right. The fabric on the foot rest bunches up just like in the pictures others show. The price was right for the quality. I wouldn't have bought it though if I had known.

*UPDATE* After 8 months - I reached back out to the company and I am glad I did. I had started getting a strange noise from the motor. This time, I got someone who wanted to identify the issues and help me. I sent photos and video of what was going on & the sections where you could see that the wood was sticking through the fabric/where there was no padding in place. I was told that the base to the chair would be replaced. I was advised that there would be a brief backorder until the base was in stock. As promised, the replacement base showed up at my home. I got someone to set up the replacement. They had a very hard time because the metal parts that attach the sections of the chair together were not lined up to where they would meet properly/fit together. After a while and some adjustments, the base is set up and it feels like a completely different chair. There is padding where it’s supposed to be, there are no strange noises, and I can finally sit comfortably (I just still wish that the footrest extended when raised, like my old chair before this one). I wish I could’ve spoken to someone who was willing to help me before, but at least I did end up getting help and I did get a chair that I can actually sit in without pain. * Update * After using for 5 months - This is the most uncomfortable chair I have ever owned, by far! The right arm of the chair leans out pretty far because of the way the hinges are placed and the way it assembles. It’s not supportive at all, at this point! The footrest has no cushion over the edges of the board that supports the footrest. You can feel the wood when you’re sitting with your legs up. In the back of the chair, the cushion is breaking down and you can feel the wood support in the back. The chair goes up and down just fine but what good is that when you can’t even sit in it because it’s so uncomfortable? Also, the seller contacted me, being argumentative, when I left my original comment. I do not recommend this chair for any reason!!!!! I did a lot of searching and measuring before ordering this chair, I thought it would be great. I received the chair and all the measurements are great except for the footrest. The footrest does not stretch out like all other recliners I have ever owned, it stops, mid-calf. So half of my calves and my feet have no support! They just hang off the end. The chair feels sturdy to sit in but there is a lot of give in the arms, back, and the footrest when you move or adjust. The surface is soft, the controls work well, the remotes control the position, heat, and massage which are great. At the end of the day, I may recommend this for someone who is 5’2” tall but if you don’t want your feet hangin off, out there, look elsewhere. This is an ok chair for occasional use. This is not for someone who has to sit most of the day, it’s not that comfortable. I can see that the padding will not last for years like I need.

I looked for a recliner that had all the features I wanted and would match my couch. I was nervous about buying on line and not knowing if the color was going to match or if it was comfortable. After looking for days I decided to take a chance with this chair. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it. It came in 2 boxes. It was so easy to put together- took about 10 minutes. After putting it together I sat in it to try out the features and it is so comfortable that I instantly felt like taking a nap! I bought it for my husband who has back pain and sleep issues. 10 minutes after he came home from work he was asleep in his new chair and he slept 4 hours straight! I'm probably going to have to buy another one because my whole family loves it!
