What a handy little LED lighting strip this is, I got this because I got a painting in an old gold ornate frame that I am hanging in my blue room and I thought that perhaps if I ran that strip around the back of the frame I might be able to get a cool and dramatic lighting effect. It worked perfectly, I was surprised by how good it turned out, the LED strip was incredibly easy to install, took about 90 seconds to stick to the back of the frame. The longest part of installing is figuring out where to put it and then how to get power to the strip. The installation of the lighting strip is by far the easiest part of it. It comes with a remote control that allows you to cycle through the various cool to warm white options along with the brightness levels. On mine it seems to have an auto on when it gets dark, a nice surprise that I was not expecting. It is a brilliant little LED lighting strip that can transform a space, I am thrilled with how good this painting looks on my blue wall. I am very happy to have it, and I think you will have fun to figuring out where you can add a bit of creative lighting in your home. ... show more

Ordered this CCT COB LED Strip Lights, 9.8ft Dimmable 2700K-6500K 24V Tunable as I have been getting into them and testing the different models and methods of installing. I am an electrician and even for me the variety of options and configurations can be dizzying. This product is a lower wattage consumer version suitable for small area lighting or under cabinet use if you want to depend on the means of control being a small remote. It is nice because you get all that is necessary to run the strip in a small package for a reasonable price. I have a roll of commercial grade led strip that is one color only and requires a switch and driver to be installed (more like a permanent install during construction) and it yields 45 watts per meter. This strip delivers 15 watts per meter and is accordingly less bright. The COB coverage is good though and the led's all blend together. Remote worked great and it functioned right out of the box. You get less wattage due to smaller LED's and the fact that it is a CCT design, meaning it changes colors. It has a data line so is a 3 connection strip light allowing it to have functions like dimming, strobe etc. Which may be fun for some people. The power supply is only 1.5 amps at 24 volts which means it will deliver about 36 watts max so you don't want to try to connect additional strips to this power supply. Hard to know exactly what you are buying, I suggest people look at the watts per meter and then determine what functions you want, generally the more features and more colors the less power is delivered to that single color... if you have a small counter and want to retrofit in some flexible and fun undercabinet lighting this will do the trick. ... show more

    • Good accent lighting
I had intended to use these lights to go under the upper cabinets in the kitchen to provide more task lighting on the countertop. The quality of these lights are nice and they would work great as accent lighting, but they do not throw enough light to work for the purpose I had intended. I did note that even after removing power, the lights will restore to the same intensity brightness they had prior to AC loss, which is a good thing. ... show more

These are bright enough to read by -- I mounted the strip on the ceiling, about 5 feet above our pillows. When set to max brightness, these worked fine when my wife and I sit in bed, reading books and magazines. Better yet, it's easy to set the color temperature to a warm 2700K, so this works perfectly as an overhead light for our bed. And you can press one button and it will darken in the next 60 seconds -- time enough to put everything away for lights-out time. We're very happy with these -- at first we just taped them up with gaffer's tape; we're going to use the proper clips and make the job permanent. Oh - on maximum brightness, the 10 for LED strip uses 20 watts of power. Warm wishes all around -- good night moon! ... show more

    • Easy to install, great quality
The LEDs are placed so tightly together that when they are on full brightness you can barely tell that it isn't just a solid strip of them. And they dim down so dark, and they're perfect to use as a night light. Absolutely love these and they fit in great with my kitchen. They make it look so much more modern. I plugged them into a smart outlet and another even connected them to my smart home, which is awesome. They remember the setting they were last on when they turn off, which was something I was worried about but they even fade on and off which adds a nice effect. ... show more
