... not enough cushion. Also, the straps are somewhat stiff - they rub the skin (but my skin is super thin, so it may not be a problem for you). I wear size 7.5, and it's true to size. I have a bunion, and it is right in the middle of the upper strap and the middle strap, so it is not rubbing the bone - a huge plus! The beige color looks so cute and elegant on the feet. I would recommend it for the price range of $40-60, but I would not buy it for higher price.

I so wanted to love these sandals! They’re really cute and all of the straps are adjustable so you can customize your fit. I ordered my normal size of 8W and they fit, although I could have probably fit into a 7-1/2W if it was offered. I was disappointed with the comfort as the arch support is high (I have a normal arch) and hard (I expected more cushion). I knew I wouldn’t be able to get used to that. Plus one of the straps rubbed right on the edge of my bunions, which I knew would add up to pain. Sadly I have to return them.

I have a miserably difficult foot to fit: high arch, high instep, extra wide, bunion, plantar fasciitis, narrow heel. And I fall between a 9 and 9.5 length, most of the time. For some reason, I can reliably wear the Vionic 9 wide sandals but I cannot wear any of the Vionic closed toe shoes in any width or length. They’re all too narrow. I wanted walking sandals for a trip on which I’ll be sightseeing for much of every day. I have lots of the Vionic slip on sandals but for cobblestone streets, I think I need sandals with a heel strap. I tried the Vionic Amber sandals five years ago in cork and thought they looked too old lady on the foot so I returned them. This year, I saw the rose gold version and decided to give them a trie again because of the reliability of the great arch support and adjustability of the straps. And I decided this version is even kinda cute. They’re a little shiny and dressy but will stay firmly on my feet and I get a custom fit.

The media could not be loaded. I have an incredibly difficult time finding sandals that look nice AND fit comfortably. So when I first saw these, I waited until I could research the seller and this brand. They're an American company that's been around for a LOT of years and I must say that they're the most comfortable sandals that I've bought in over 10 years! I've been wearing them around the house to see how they do and yesterday, I wore them for hours--totally pain free--a miracle in and of itself! I'm hoping that they last a long time and if they do, I'll definitely buy more!
