Pros: Nice and heavy good price Cons: It didnt last very long I ordered this tarp to hang as a curtain to keep the elements out in an opening in an outdoor shelter for my horses. Its a treated tarp so I expected the smell and actually it was kind of a vanilla/tobacco leaf smell and not offensive at all, but definitely and outdoor tarp. Its nice and heavy and did they job it was supposed to do very well for about 6 months. And that's the bummer, because it really was exactly what I was looking for and did a great job but unfortunately it didn't last. Half the grommets ripped out about the 3 month mark and then the tarp ripped down one side at about 6 months in. I suppose it was not meant to cover an opening with animals, however, all 3 of my horses are seniors so they really don't get into mischief much and it was hanging in a window type opening, not a doorway. This product was horrible. Product received was new in original packaging. Upon opening it wreaked of chemicals and was wet and oily to the touch. The brown dye transferred to our skin and anything the tarp touched. I left the tarps out in the 100 degree temps we had to dry and the oily residue did not absorb or dry out. We even tried scrubbing the tarps with dawn dish soap in an effort to eliminate the transfer of the oily residue, however that failed to do the trick. The tarps were purchased as dust covers for patio furniture during the summer and are going in the garbage as there is no practical use for a tarp that can not be used absent oily residue transfer. *** Warning*** Do not buy this product! ... show more

I bought this to make a camp-style roof over an outdoor table. I ordered it in April of 2016, but I let it sit for about 6 months before putting it up by stretching it across a frame. It looked great, but the sides started splitting after a few months. I left it and it was ok for more than a year, but one day I came out and it was like this. Perhaps my expectations were too high for $45? Three stars, but only because I think maybe I was asking too much of it. ... show more

I have a very similar tarp that I bought from the hardware store and I cover my tractor with it and it works great. I bought this to cover my daughters play structure to keep it out of the elements. This tarp does not repel water at all. Water comes right through it. I am very unhappy with it. It was very expensive and I would like a refund for the product. I bought two of these to hang in front of a rabbit hutch to bock the bad weather. They are heavy duty and keep the the weather and wind out. They do smell when you first open them due to what ever treatment they put on them. I hung them and hit them with a hose then aired out for a few days before installing. ... show more

I did not like this product because it had a strong chemical smell. And when I laid it on my carpet it left brown stains, and now I had to have a carpet cleaner to remove the stains. Cheaply made product, not worth the money I paid.
