My cat LOVES this. I bought her several toys around same time. This is her top fave. It’s only been weeks but works great so far. That said, IF YOUR CAT CHEWS THROUGH MOST TOYS THEN YOU MUST MONITOR THEM WITH ANY TOY THAT HAS BATTERIES OR THEY COULD BE INJURED OR KILLED. These contain button cell batteries, as do many other cat toys that make noises or move, and will cause severe burning if licked and likely fatal if swallowed. This would be VERY painful so do not buy toys with any batteries if you can’t monitor or think your cat will quickly chew them enough to reach the battery pack. If your cat destroys toys super well, you should monitor even with string toys or any toy, really, but battery powered toys DEFINITELY. The media could not be loaded. The cats love the squeaky sounds, it's not too loud. The toy itself is durable. The battery doesn't last very long. Overall, a great value and an engaging toy for cats.

Both cats, the 6 month old Turkish Van - alike kitten boy and 3 year old adult tortie girl adore this toy. The first night they were both playing nonstop all over the house to the point I had to take the mouse away to get some sleep. All I heard was squeak squeak squeak. . . Silence and then squeaking would start up again. This mouse makes a short electric squeak most of the time when cat swats at it. Mouse does not make motion independently - that doesn’t take away the fun of the toy fortunately! Long term value value will be relative to battery life as there is no off switch. And if the mouse can inevitably survive the day my kitten dunks it in the water bowl. So far so good. ... show more

Doesn't make much noise but, my newly adopted cat played with it anyway. Then one of my dogs discovered the mouse & finished it off. Didn't last a day.

So fun. I have a Weiner dog and cat at home. Bought this for the cat of course but my dog has been glued to it 24/7. She will take the mouse into hiding spots and play with it for hours straight. This is hilarious

Squeak is so very faint, can hardly hear it. And doubt there's catnip inside this as advertised, neither of my 2 cats are interested. Would return but packaging is tossed. Now there is no faint squeal at all. Not worth a penny.

These little mice are action controlled. They only squeak when they're getting tossed around or carried. My male cat loves to carry them around the house in his mouth when he's not pouncing on them.
