Cat hates the door. I like it because it helps when he kicks litter in the air.
Cat hates it. Swatted the door off the litter box!! Cat refuses to go in litter box and insisted on peeing on the floor instead. Cat feels enclosed with it on. We ended up having to cut open the top of the enclosed cat genie with a saw. Cat now enters and exits through the hole in the top of litter box. Still won’t use the door....we keep it on because cat has habit of kicking litter and high arching pee stream.

Reduces stink and litter tracking
This door helps prevent smells from escaping the cat genie and also reduces how much litter gets tracked outside. The cats took a minute to get used to the door, but they use it just fine after a while.

I would give it zero Stars if I could. The door does not stay closed to keep odors inside.

Love this
Before the hot air would blow out into the bathroom, heating up the bathroom. Which is fine in the winter, not so much for the summer months. This works great to help contain the hot air, and for the cat to not spring action out of the litter box slinging littler everywhere.

Functional
It functions as a door for sure although it doesn't cover the entire entrance way.

Doesn’t fit well. Cats are still afraid of it.
The title says it all. It doesn’t fit well and can pop out and then startle an already skittish cat. We are still trying to get our cats to get used to it. Right now we attached it to a cardboard box so they can play and learn how the door works. We tried to just install it on the Cat Genie, but they were too afraid to use the litter box! Hopefully the cardboard box will do the trick. Then I’ll have to figure out a way to get it to stay in place better. Poor design I think.
