We get this one recurrent shipment once a month. This week I had to ask my mom if there was a way to cut back to like, wvery other or every 3. This works SO well, that I can use an entire month and it's still soft, fluffy and NO Smell. Sometimes you smell the cedar but that's just icing on the cake! I can not believe THIS was the secret all along. It truly is incredible! And I have 2 cats and 2 boxes. 1 is even in my room, and no smell at all. Absolutely incredible product!

Never again dusty, stinky clumping wet clay litter. This stuff is amazing, both cats both love it. Took to it immediately. No stink in the house. Saves so much money! We have two litter boxes. I had the new in one and the conventional clumpy litter in the other. The cats chose this. It is so much more economical than dry clay or crystal litter. A couple of scoops are good for more than a week. Then sift the lumps out with a sifting grid litter box and add fresh litter back. This is the best ever in having cats for 40 years. I do place a cheap amazon absorbent litter pad in the bottom of the pan though, because the big cat pees like an elephant.

This is the best litter I’ve found. Doesn’t smell and it clumps well. I don’t have a problem with it coming out on the cats feet and dragging it through the whole house. I will never go back to using regular cat litter. It also isn’t as heavy as normal litter. Decomposes well and normal litter does not.

I wanted to love this brand so bad. For the price you pay for it, it lasts a good while, only needing a monthly refresh. Odor control is great, though I did sprinkle in some Arm & Hammer litter deodorizer just to be safe. I used this for both litter boxes in my home and both cats adapted to it with no issue. However, by the end of the first week, my apartment was covered in sawdust and small wood chips. The wood chips I don't mind, that's completely understandable as even the best litter types will track to some degree. However, the sawdust will track EVERYWHERE. One of my kitties will sometimes walk away with sawdust all over her face. It's especially noticeable on my sheets, as I have a litter box in my bedroom. Great value for your money and sustainably sourced, so I can't in good conscience turn folks away from this. But please keep in mind that, in exchange for not changing the litter as often, you will be regularly cleaning sawdust out of every inch of your home to which your cats have access.

I decided to try this product for a few reasons; great reviews, I liked that its lightweight when it comes time to clean out and wash the litter box, I was tired of dust coating everything around the litter box, I like the smell of sawdust, and finally I am a sucker for packaging/label design. It did not help with many of these. Yes the label was cool, it's definitely easier to lift than clay litter-but those were the best things about it. This was so light that instead of little clay rocks all over the floor, I had little wood chips instead. The smell also did not mask or eliminate odors AT ALL. If there was poop in the litter, I'd know before I was even down the hall. The scent added to the chips also doesn't mix well with cat pee. It did clump pretty well- but for bigger chunks would break up a lot and then the smell of cat pee would be overpowering. There was the same amount of vacuuming up dust/tracked wood everywhere as with traditional clay litter. This made me feel like I had to clean MORE than before, on top of always having to mask the smell or air out a room. Ive never had to do that with clay litter Considering the price point, it just wasn't worth it for me.

I always mix Catalyst with Tidy Cats Lightweight because my cats won't use Catalyst straight and I don't like the hamster shavings smell of Catalyst. However, it lasts ages because everything actually CLUMPS instead of being some big glob stuck to the bottom of the box that breaks and disperses into the rest of the litter. You will get a lot more mileage out of this. Between the 2 litters, tracking onto the floor is minimal. I have deep-sided cat boxes that are inside of those end tables with doors you can stick cat boxes in.

The media could not be loaded. before i start complaining, i will say that this litter does clump very well and is very soft. now go the complaints. this cat litter is probably not one i’d use again. i had a friend try it for her cat and really like it but both my cat and i are not a fan. Before this i was using the arm and hammer naturals litter. i really liked that kind and my cats had no problem with it but wanted to try something that didn’t track so much outside of the litter box. I did notice it didn’t track the individual pieces as much as the other litter, but it is however VERY dusty. the dust gets all over my cat’s face and paws when she uses the litter box and there will be little dusty paw prints around sometimes. personally that is a little less annoying for me than actual pieces of litter around the floor sticking to my feet since it’s easier to clean and vacuum up than the other litter. i will aso say that i am not a fan of this litter. it has a lot more of a cedar-y smell than a pine smell i was expecting. in my opinion it has a little bit of a sour woody smell almost and i don’t really like it. I will probably be going back to my old cat litter unless my cat gets used to it and starts using it normally.
