I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Daughter because she loves mermaids and has been asking for one of these type “blankets”. I was in a hurry and just bought this one without looking at the description. Wow was I surprised! First the packaging was simple and unique and so pretty I didn’t want to pull the blanket out so I left the box intact and let her open it. She absolutely loves it. The the knit outside of the blanket was knitted with very soft yarn and the color is gorgeous. Even better was the fleece lining on the inside which is soft, thick, and warm. My daughter is an adult and around 5’6” tall and wears a size 10 and the blanket fits her perfectly. When she puts her feet to the end it will open up and she can walk (like a penguin). We couldn’t be happier and I fully recommend this to any lover of mermaids.

Wow! From the packaging to the product itself, this transaction was amazing. I bought a number of different mermaid blankets, all from different companies. This one, by far, hands down, was THE best! So well made, gorgeous!...and the attention to detail, with the cozy Sherpa backing, the neck strap so you don't have to remove blanket and get cold if you get up, all the way down to the way it's presented to you in a beautiful, nice quality box with tissue, you just can't go wrong with this one. It may cost a touch more than others but believe me...worth every penny and then some! I'm truly amazed and extremely pleased. Even the delivery was lightning fast! I ordered just a few days before I needed it, for a gift for my niece who was going away for the holidays. Honestly didn't think I'd get it before she left so I planned to give it to her when she came back but boy was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived in just 2 days! And this was during holiday season when everything is usually backed up and comes late! Seriously you guys just rocked it out of the park in every way! The color (got the little mermaid colored one;) was absolutely gorgeous and my niece just loved it. Blown away! Really, guys, great job! Thank you, again!!!

Exactly what I wanted as a gift for my mom, an avid lover of mermaids. Soft, comfortable, and warm. Love the color options, but the seafoam green particularly evoked dreams of mermaids for the giftee. I have already had many people ask me where it was purchased, enviously, so I think there will be more of these in my future... NOTE: It is a BLANKET shaped as a tail, so it is not fully-enclosed. So don't expect one of those fancy tails that you shimmy into and hop around in because you can't walk anymore. This is functional.

It's super soft and great quality and the color is just as beautiful as the picture however I gave it 4 stars because it isn't as big as the picture makes it look. It's really tight around my ankles. My legs barely fit to the bottom and the tail doesn't lay flat like that the size in the photo is deceiving.

I bought this as a gift and so I didn’t want to tear apart the packaging to take it completely out. I was able to open it and get a feel for the material, which felt nice. Seems to be a good value. I didn’t want to give less than 5 stars, because it’s not the product’s fault that I wasn’t able to truly assess it. But I honestly can’t say if it is or isn’t 5 star worthy. Sorry.

Have you ever sat on the couch with a blanket and then your feet get cold, but the blanket never seems to get your feet warm until you tuck the thing all around your feet? But then- your feet get too hot and you don’t know what to do? Oh. And. Have you ever wanted to be a mermaid but you live in the Midwest where there is no ocean to be found? Then this product was made for you!! Don’t fall for any of those imitation tails that don’t have a large enough waistband for an adult, and have sealed tail fins that limit mobility to ZERO! This tail- feels like an Afghan crocheted by gramma. Cold feet? Great. Snuggle them into the fleece-lined tail fin. Feet get too hot? Poke them out the end! Just want to use it as a comfortable blankie? Go for it. Want to play mermaid? It’s great for that too!! This is BY FAR the most amazing gift that I received this year. And I got a lot of great stuff. I asked for the Snuggie adult mermaid tail in blue. I’m SOOOOOO GLAD that I didn’t receive that one.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is 4’11 and 90 lbs and she barely fits in it. The tail was very tight around her legs and she couldn’t comfortably get in and out of it, and the picture is misleading and so are the dimensions. The size is measured from the outside of the blanket not the inside. Everything she wears is xs in size so this makes me think this is strictly for children. The Sherpa lining was a nice touch and the stitching is high quality but this is not for adults.
