Wow! From the packaging to the product itself, this transaction was amazing. I bought a number of different mermaid blankets, all from different companies. This one, by far, hands down, was THE best! I ordered just a few days before I needed it, for a gift for my niece who was going away for the holidays. Honestly didn't think I'd get it before she left so I planned to give it to her when she came back but boy was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived in just 2 days! I bought this as a gift and so I didn’t want to tear apart the packaging to take it completely out. I was able to open it and get a feel for the material, which felt nice. Seems to be a good value. I didn’t want to give less than 5 stars, because it’s not the product’s fault that I wasn’t able to truly assess it. But I honestly can’t say if it is or isn’t 5 star worthy. Sorry.

Have you ever sat on the couch with a blanket and then your feet get cold, but the blanket never seems to get your feet warm until you tuck the thing all around your feet? But then- your feet get too hot and you don’t know what to do? Oh. And. Have you ever wanted to be a mermaid but you live in the Midwest where there is no ocean to be found? Then this product was made for you!! Don’t fall for any of those imitation tails that don’t have a large enough waistband for an adult, and have sealed tail fins that limit mobility to ZERO! This tail- feels like an Afghan crocheted by gramma. Cold feet? Great. Snuggle them into the fleece-lined tail fin. Feet get too hot? Poke them out the end! Just want to use it as a comfortable blankie? Go for it. Want to play mermaid? It’s great for that too!! This is BY FAR the most amazing gift that I received this year. And I got a lot of great stuff. I asked for the Snuggie adult mermaid tail in blue. I’m SOOOOOO GLAD that I didn’t receive that one.

I ordered this blanket because my feet always get cold when I'm stretched out on the sofa. Regular blankets always seem to slip off. I like it a lot. Maybe it's a little confining and can be a bit of a hassle to wiggle out of it if you are getting up and down from the sofa. But on a cool chilly day, it's great to snuggle in it and my feet stay warm. The fleece makes it very warm, which might not be a good thing if you live in a warm climate. I live in Florida but the AC in my house makes my house cool enough where I want something covering me when I'm relaxing. Be aware that cats love this product and I'm constantly fighting with my cats as to who gets first dibs on it!

We have a teenage autistic child that loves mermaids! A tale has been requested multiple times but do to their height we were very unsuccessful at finding one…until now! It arrived today and immediately unboxed and put on. I believe we might have to pry it away later because their is no way they will be removing it any time soon. It came packaged well and I was relieved because its been raining for a while. It was in the amazon box, a sealed plastic bag and then a vacuum sealed bag around the garment. Stitching looked good and inside material was clean as well as soft. It did go on sale after we bought it but it was just a $2 difference so we’re ok with that.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Daughter because she loves mermaids and has been asking for one of these type “blankets”. I was in a hurry and just bought this one without looking at the description. Wow was I surprised! First the packaging was simple and unique and so pretty I didn’t want to pull the blanket out so I left the box intact and let her open it. She absolutely loves it. The the knit outside of the blanket was knitted with very soft yarn and the color is gorgeous. Even better was the fleece lining on the inside which is soft, thick, and warm. My daughter is an adult and around 5’6” tall and wears a size 10 and the blanket fits her perfectly. When she puts her feet to the end it will open up and she can walk (like a penguin). We couldn’t be happier and I fully recommend this to any lover of mermaids.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is 4’11 and 90 lbs and she barely fits in it. The tail was very tight around her legs and she couldn’t comfortably get in and out of it, and the picture is misleading and so are the dimensions. The size is measured from the outside of the blanket not the inside. Everything she wears is xs in size so this makes me think this is strictly for children. The Sherpa lining was a nice touch and the stitching is high quality but this is not for adults.
