We bought this thinking that we would use it all of the time. After purchasing the package of sponges, we will only be using this for when we travel. The cats definitely drank out of it happily. It's just an expensive product when you include what it takes to make this product function.

Had to return this cat drinking fountain because our cat just ignored it. I even put a security camera on the fountain to make sure he wasn't using it when I wasn't watching. Hopefully it works better for other cats.
