Great pric. I actually expected the amount to be easy less. It says antibacterial, and it doesn't say any thing about a scent. It's definitely unscented. Its seems to clump up just fine too. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I at first had no idea what or if this product would handle my needs of one cat and a three month old kitten. I really bought it for the price. I find cat litter to be over priced and of poor quality so I didn't expect much. It promised all the necessities such as clumping, durability, dust, odor, etc. Here is how well it worked. The dust factor became important because my kitten loves to play in fresh litter and I was happy to see the little guy wasn't breathing in a cloud of litter everytime he dived across the box. The litter managed to clump quickly but it lost the battle if my older cat did a repeat performance in the same spot as she frequently does before I get to clean. I suppose no litter can withstand repeated assaults of urine from a cat who drinks like a fish. The smell was managed exceptionally well. I used to smell the box as soon as I walked in the door now it is extremely rare. I anticipate buying a autoscooper and will be interested to see how well it does. ... show more

This is the second litter I have tried for comparison I began with Dr. Elsey or whatever his name is as suggested from the shelter where I got my cat. It is a little pricey but I really wanted something with antibacterial properties and this is one of two litters that offered that. Due to its price point and reviews, I decided to try. I mixed it into my cats litter box and then provided a fresh litter box for comparison. This litter is not as dust free, no problem as I have a lid on one box. I don’t think the dust really bothered the cats. I don’t like it while clean or refilling. It does not clump as well. There are so many crumbs leftover. I simply don’t get it. It makes the litter appear more dirty since you can’t really sift crumbs, I need a metal strainer or something. It does mask the smell a little better but the other litter was unscented in comparison to this. The scent is not overwhelming and it didn’t seem to bother the cats. The scent seems to last although the litter appears dirtier to me. 5/5 for odor control. It tracks more than the other litter because it seems finer. Hated that. However all clay litter tracks so honestly it is something a cat owner adjusts to. No complaints from me because I am use to that. Overall experience, wouldn’t purchase again because it is not scoop friendly and I don’t have a poop sifter, I have a pooper scooper, as does every pet parent. ... show more

I have been using this for a while now and wanted to leave a review because this litter doesn’t disappoint! I love that it is antibacterial formula and helps with keeping the germs off her paws after she used the litter box. Had clumping also and that’s a plus! It last me a month because I clean out her litter box once a week then add some more to it. Great price and great product! I picked this one because of the antibacterial it has in the litter.
