I love these boots there comfortable and a great price also, haven't had them to long so can't comment on durability but i can say they are not waterproof like it says but still i give them a 5 star for the looks and being comfortable wearing for 10 hours a day. Plus the price also.

Overall, this is a solid work boot. The steel toe offers great protection and the wide fit makes it comfortable for long days on the job. I feel sturdy and stable when wearing them, which is important for construction work. They are on the heavier side, but that matches the type of heavy work I do, so it’s not a big issue. These boots are everything I expected from the Cat Brand. Quality leather uppers with a consistent brown color. Excellent stitching - the appearance is very nice. Waterproofed that makes them functional in all types of weather I Non slip soles- on construction safety is a must. Steel toes- I thought the boots would be heavier than they are. The lighter weight is a plus. Makes them easier to wear. They had no smell when I opened them. I’m glad because they are a gift. Last but certainly not least- their price was nearly half of other brand names. They get 10 stars! ... show more

    • Terrible squawking from right boot.

I have owned many pairs of these and have loved the comfort. But unfortunately, this pair has a terrible squeak in the right boot no matter what I do. I have not been able to get rid of this. I sound like a duck as I walk. I think it has to be shank inside the boot. I’m will need to replace them soon due to constantly hearing remarks like. hey squeaky. I've been wearing CATs for over 10 years... Never had a problem with them. Comfortable, sturdy and good traction. I would suggest going up a size if buying steel Toes.

These boots are hard to review. I very much like them and have not only purchased 2 pair of my own, but have recommended them to 3 other people that bought them. They are very durable and waterproof as well as comfortable for long days' work. The down side is that the first pair worked great until one of the eye loops popped off when I was tying them. I bought a new pair and 2 of the eye loops popped off in the first week, also while I was tying them. If this eye loops hadn't come off, I would have given a solid 5 stars. ... show more
