Really sturdy cat door. Needs some skill to install. The magnetic door keeps the door closed from wind, insects, and maybe even small rodents. The locking mechanism that allows the cats to come in only, out only, or fully closed and fully open is really cool and very functionable. The ONLY problem I have is that my door has design panels and there will be gaps and not flush with the door. Cool thing about this door though is that you may be able to install in a wall... Perfect for when you want your cat to have access to their litter box in the laundry room but you don't want to leave the door open all the time. Also, with the different lock features (in and out, in not out, out not in, no in or out) gives you lots of options. Easy to install and looks great.

Used this to put a cat door in my master bedroom door. This allows my cat to move freely into my bedroom even when the door is closed. She got used to it immediately, on day 1 she was going in and out. Install was extremely easy with the help of a jigsaw.

The instructions for installation were not great, I ended up making the initial hole upside down (and I've installed 4 dog doors in my life, so this isn't my first rodeo). My cat was also able to pop this cat door off of my room door when he saw a dog on the other side, he's not particularly strong so the locks are really not functional. ... show more

So far, so good. I’m very pleased with this Cat door. I did order two different brand Cat doors from amazon so that I can look at them side by side and decide which one I wanted. I chose to keep this one because it was made with heavy duty material compared to the other one that I ordered. The quality is very nice, but you can’t expect it to be the best when you’re paying such a cheap price. It definitely does the job. I haven’t had a chance to use the locking feature yet. This is the third cat door that I've purchased and installed and this one is by far the best, it's very sturdy and works great for outdoor access. It's only been a couple weeks but I'm very pleased with it so far!
