10/10 recommend getting this. I spent the afternoon putting it together and I could not be happier. I have a 15 year old 3 legged cat for whom I bought a 24x24 in litter box for. It fits perfectly! It is about 5 inches taller than expected but absolutely beautiful. I am able to fit the litter box, litter, scoop and smell good stuff comfortably inside the cabinet. I wish I took a before picture because I HATED how it looked and searched for months to find this one. I highly recommend a little patience and a power drill and you be more than happy with this! And that doesn’t include whatever I choose to put on the shelf. I literally FaceTimed 3 people to show it off immediately after completion. Is it a little pricey? I’m really happy with this litter box enclosure! It looks great in the room and, most importantly, my Litter-Robot 4 fits inside perfectly. The enclosure feels sturdy and good quality, and it looks much nicer than having the litter box sitting out in the open. Assembly was pretty straightforward. I was able to put about 90% of it together by myself, although there were a few steps where having a second person help definitely made things easier. Perfect cabinets for our three big male cats! They look great in our home and have been a fantastic solution for hiding the litter boxes. The slide out litter catch box is a good idea and works well. I still vacuum every other day, but there is much less litter to clean up. We’re extremely happy with how functional and attractive these cabinets are. A couple of additional items purchased from Amazon to complete our cat litter system: CLEAR CONTACT PAPER I covered all of the interior panels with clear contact paper, which makes cleanup quick and easy if there are any accidents. We use XXXL stainless steel litter pans, and they fit perfectly inside the cabinets. UNDER MOUNT LIGHT STRIPS We also added under-cabinet LED light strips, which provide plenty of light when it’s time to scoop and clean. PEE SHIELDS I added 5 plastic shields to each pan to prevent pee from going over the top of the pan. We tried lids but those were harder to keep clean. LITTER MATS We bought the XL litter mats to use underneath the cabinets and they really help trap extra litter. ... show more

Even if you measure, even if you think you know, it's huge. Once you put it together you realize, damn, this takes up some space. I had to rearrange the room to figure out where it made sense to put it, but I do honestly love it now! As with any piece of Amazon furniture, holes might not always line up or be pre-drilled, directions may be a bit up to interpretation, but I promise you can do it. Just carve out some time, put on a show or podcast and go step by step. You can do it by yourself, but the section everyone is referring to that is easier with another person is screwing two long boards to an end piece and you need something to hold the end of the long board up. Also putting on the doors, you need something for it to rest on while you screw them in if you don't have other hands. **USE A DRILL OR AUTO-SCREWDRIVER** It will save you so much heartache and hand pain. The result is great though! SO much space inside! And it really does look beautiful. It's tall enough too that I can use it as a standing desk for projects. ... show more

This was one of the best purchases I have made. I am in love. It has a large interior that fits my big robot litter box. It was an entry area with a litter catch box that makes for easy litter collection. That being said I would still put a litter catching mat under your litter box in the main box area. The material feels quality and sturdy. I love that the doors have a latch so they cannot be pushed opened if not wanting to. We actually put this in the garage and reconfigured it a bit. Instead of putting the shelf in above the litter catching area we flipped it upright and secured it to close of the front entry. We then pushed it back against the wall and cut a hole to attach a cat door from the inside and out through the wall into an entry way closet. The cats now go into the closet and out the back of it into this cabinet in the garage. It cuts down on litter tracking through the house and of course the lovely smell. Please keep in mind this cabinet is large but it needs to be that way to fit these larger litter robots and still give your cats space to maneuver inside. We are thinking of getting another and flipping the layout and putting it side by side with the other in the garage with my other large robot litter box. This way the cats can go out into the garage and choose to go either left or right to whichever litter box they choose. All the litter boxes will be in one area and since the cabinets lock they won't be able to get lose in the garage or outside. Plus the cabinets side by side will be the perfect height for a long counter in the garage. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and it is working exactly as intended. ... show more

We were so shocked by the quality of this product. Especially for the price. I know Whisker has enclosures that are meant to specifically fit the LR but they are much more expensive. So this is an affordable product that basically does the same for a fraction of the price. Our Litter Robot 4 fits perfectly in here and I haven’t smelled any odors coming from it since putting it in. I love the little paint details. The material of the product is very well made and sturdy. My boyfriend was able to put it together in about an hour and a half. There is quite a lot of hardware that comes with this but he didn’t have any trouble with anything during assembly. The litter catcher in the bottom pulls out all the way. It’s quite long so use both hands to fully remove and put back. The top piece of the litter catcher slides out horizontally to allow access for cleaning. The only issue to consider is depending on your litter robot, you’ll have to remove it from the enclosure to allow for removal of the bonnet and thorough cleaning. Especially to change out filters and odor trap pods, as well as refilling litter (or just scoop some into the robot through the cabinet doors). To change trash bag/liners in the waste bin I was able to leave the robot on top of the mat and slide the robot to face out the cabinet doors. When done I just slid it right back into place, you shouldn’t have to actually lift it to do this if you have that bottom mat. I would recommend this to anyone. Make sure you measure your space and check dimensions because this is a large product - done so intentionally to fit large litter robots like ours. Tried to include a video of the entire thing but it wouldn’t upload. The latch in the front required a good bit of force/effort to “lock it” all the way. Not easy to give a good or bad review. It's well made but used with poor materials. Hardware is functional but cheap as well but you get what you pay for and unfortunately $140-$170 gets you junk in today's market. I got this to hold a litter robot 4 and yes it fits with some exception. You will have to turn it towards you to empty the poo receptacle. As far as odor goes the furniture has too many joints to keep an air tight seal on it. I recommend getting a tube of clear silicone chalk and run a bead along the edges on the inside of the cabinet to create an air tight barrier to contain the order. The rear of the cabinet toward the top has three, two inch holes for ventilation you can buy charcoal pre-filters used for air purifiers to filter odor coming from those holes. For ventilation while I'm at work I just open the front doors to air it out to reduce orders from seeping into the wood/particle board. Maybe if I fit a fan it I would help air it out it help reduce that for happening. Anyways thought I'd share that cause even though it's not a perfect product you can make it better and it's still worth the extra compared to most options I see on amazon. ... show more

First and foremost, this is a gigantic piece of furniture. Note to self -- read the full description including dimensions!! That said, it is a really nice piece to have in my office/craft room where it's going to live. It does NOT look like a cloaking device for a litter box at all, and is very sturdy, which is really nice. There is a sort of two-plug extension cord you can plug into the wall, so no worries about blocking an outlet. The two plugs sit on top in the middle and can be turned on and off. The fluted doors make it look modern and polished. Assembly was a 6 out of 10 for complexity and time, but it all came together very nicely. You will definitely need another person to help attach some of the pieces, but don't need help the entire build. I was able to sit inside the cabinet to tighten screws and stick on the wood-like patches to cover hardware mounts. If that won't work for you, recommend you find a smaller human to help with that part. I left the door open for a couple of days for my kitties to figure everything out, and then they were fine. I'm using it now for some plants and intend to add some shelves and other organization items to the top. ... show more
