LOVE this cabinet! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated that they included plenty of extra parts. My only small criticism is that the two screwdrivers provided were quite flimsy the plastic handle separated from the metal when I tried to tighten screws firmly. I ended up using my electric screwdriver instead (which I prefer anyway). The material quality is excellent for the price, and it fits the Litter-Robot 4 perfectly. We have one with a hopper and one without the one with the hopper fits a bit more snugly, as expected. There’s a slight knack to getting the Litter-Robot in and out smoothly, but once you get the angle right, it’s easy. It’s fantastic at catching litter as the cat exits, a very clever design feature. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and plan to buy another one for our second Litter-Robot! ... show more

After years of pretending the litter corner in my finished basement wasn’t an eyesore, this enclosure finally restored some dignity to the space. It took me about two hours to assemble solo and I earned a small blister for my trouble, but with the number of screws involved, it felt like a rite of passage. The directions were clear and the final structure is impressively solid. My Steel cat litter box fits perfectly with room to spare. My cat was climbing inside before I even finished building, which eased my nerves about him adapting to the new setup. The cat-faced doors add personality without being cutesy, and the built-in litter collector does what it claims by catching stray litter before it hits the floor. I was able to retire the lineup of mismatched mats I used to depend on. I’m not using a robot, but the built-in outlet is still a thoughtful touch and gives me flexibility if I ever want to set a small lamp or decorative piece on top. The cabinet looks like actual furniture, not a workaround, and the hinges feel high quality. I used my own screwdriver because the included one is tiny and makes the job more tedious, but once everything was in place, the result was absolutely worth it. I gave 4 stars because the doors came a little wonky. They don’t quite match up and one doesn’t shut quite as smooth as the other. Aside from that, it fits my larger automatic litter box. It helps keep the litter tracking down as the cats have to go across the litter catcher first. A lot of the litter just gets stuck on top of the catcher (which you can see in the picture), but at least it’s caught somewhere. It’s easy enough to slide the catcher out, slide the top off, and empty the catcher. The only issue with that is a lot of the litter gets caught in the grooves where the top slides in, so not the easiest to empty. This box also helps keep the dust down. It seems all the dust mostly settles within the box, so that’s a plus. It was a lot to put this together, so be prepared. I think it took my husband a couple hours. There’s a lot of parts and pieces to screw together, but it wasn’t particularly difficult, just time consuming. The cats were a bit leery of going in the box, but they eventually got comfortable with it. The powers strip is helpful for plugging in the automatic litter box. We haven’t used all the other features like USB charging ports because I just have cat beds on it. The cats do like to lay on top of it. This box is sturdy. The top seems solid and there’s an extra foot in the middle underneath to support the floor of the box. It’s on the heavier side, but the feet do not scratch the floor if you move it around. I did order a second one as I think it’s a solid choice. I’m hoping the doors fit together on this one. ... show more

    • What an affordable and beautiful option to hide the litterbox!

This is a game-changer! My Litter Robot 4 goes in there perfectly, and it is out of sight! The cats have no trouble using it, and the mess stays contained. Only thing that isn't perfect is the slide out, litter-catching shelf - it is a little short for my full size cats, so we just have it on the 'floor' of the cabinet instead of halfway up as an additional shelf. One of my cats scratches the inside of the walls when he is 'covering up' for the others, and the cabinet doesn't have any scratch marks. (They did scratch off all the screw-hiding stickers that came the the cabinet, but since those are inside, I don't care.) The color matches my other furniture, and the cabinet is durable! Easy to assemble and should last a long time. Also, it is very affordable compared to other versions on the market. ... show more

Well designed cat box concealer. High quality, adjustable hinges and other hardware. It's very large, but it fits my XL litter box, Genie, and spare litter. I bought a puck light and stuck it to the "ceiling" of the enclosure to give me light when I'm scooping. The cats took to it right away and the dog can't get in! The media could not be loaded. It's particle board but it's pretty good quality particle board. LOTS of parts and tiny bits of hardware so one of those small magnetic tool/hardware bowls from Harbor Freight and a drill with a variable speed trigger will come in handy. It looks really good and my cats have no issues getting in and out of the enclosure. It cuts down on the smell of cat litter significantly and keeps litter my cats kick out contained very well. ... show more
