The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I still LOVE this gate and I believe it would work for MOST cats. Unfortunately, my big goofy , strong Persian managed to jump over on day two so I have to return it for a higher gate. I know my other three would never be able to clear the gate. I added a video to show how he did it. OK, I was nervous to buy this since there weren't too many reviews and I was just sceptical due to lower price point compared to other gates. I've only had the gate for one day, but so far, it seems PERFECT! We just added a 4th cat (1.5 year old Persian) who is bullying my other 3 cats which include two Persians who are pretty timid. The gate allows us to easily separate them as needed and the ajustability factor is perfect if we opt to move the gate to just one room or into our finished basement. I'm impressed with how sturdy this gate is, how easy it was to install, and I can't imagine my cats being able to jump over it. Opening and closing the gate is also a single-handed simple operation. I would not hesitate on purchasing this gate.

This gate really helped with a cat/ dog introduction. Gives kitty and dog a safe space to be separated. Small kitten cannot get between bars or jump over.

Had a little bit of trouble installing this it just didn't want to hold against the wall but it has nice height once it's installed it's nice the way it closes and clicks is secure and sturdy not easy for kids or animals to get through we use it for two very annoying dogs that like to push on Gates and get through them and they can't get through this worth it and great value for your money

I bought this to keep cat from getting outside. He jumps on top and gets over it so it’s useless for me. Unfortunately I destroyed the box and can’t return it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a heavy-duty gate that will do a great job of keeping most four-legged friends out of a majority of rooms. It's ideal for cats who can jump over standard height gates and, of course, will work for dogs. For the pet parent, it's easy to open and close this gate with an easy to release latch. It's also designed to where it is good-looking and not an eye sore. As it's adjustable in width, it can fit doorways between 20.9 inches up to 40.9 inches. Included are base support plates, which give this gate greater stability and safety when stepping over the threshold. My only issue with this gate was lack of assembly instructions. What was provided was poor. Other than the number of slats needed for the various adjustable widths, there was no mention of how to use the tension end dials, what the four nuts are for ( I couldn't make a guess so they are still in the bag) or where the short metal brackets are to be placed ( still in the bag also. ) After much frustration, trial, and error, my husband and I managed to get this gate put together and in place. It is held in place by tension. Having detailed instructions could have made the whole assembly and installation process less stressful and time-consuming. All that aside, I'm using this gate to block off a small utility closet that is, unfortunately, my only area for doing laundry and storing cleaning supplies. This gate allows me access to this area while keeping my four-legged friend safe from getting into harms way. I have young dogs and have had to place pet gates in nearly every doorway in my house to control them. So I know which gates are good and which leave something to be desired. This KoreTech gate is one of the best I've gotten. It takes only minutes to install, using pressure hardware. The gate also comes with extenders if they're needed. It's a sturdy gate that opens and closes and latches smoothly. It swings in and out and, when fully extended open in either direction, will remain open. It is an extra tall gate, supposedly meant to keep cats in or out of a room. And honestly, I can't imagine a cat leaping over it. Although there are reviewers who say their cats have done just that. At any rate the gate is perfect for my needs, and I'm satisfied. Recommended.

I didn’t have this gate up an hour and my 5yr old cat jumped over it. I’m trying to acclimate him to my almost 13yr old cat, but they don’t get along and I usually have to keep him in a closed room. I thought this would help give him some more room but still keep them separate. He jumped over it his first try.
