HAve gotten a ton of use out of these boots. The only complaint I have is that the laces included with the boots are of a poor quality. They frayed easily, had to replace them fairly quickly.

I bought these to ride a Harley touring bike. The boots look awesome and well made. However, the toe profile we too tall to fit between the floorboard and the shifter, and adjusting the shifter to fit the boot was awkward, especially raising your leg for downshifting. Otherwise, I would have kept these boots for sure.

Having read the other reviews I decided to order a full size down from my usual shoe size. They were still slightly too large. Making the closure as tight as possible and wearing two layers of extra thick socks, it's close enough, but seriously, order AT LEAST a full size down. Now, like all tough boots these are very uncomfortable at the beginning and if you order a size and a half down, it might feel impossibly small. Don't give up - flex them, massage them, massage them with the oil you need to use for leather care anyway, wear them, get creative with the lacing pattern (you even have that loop in the back if you need it), and before you know it they'll fit like a glove (an inch-thick steel-reinforced glove). I do wish the steel toe was wider, but it's alright. Comparable to other boots (but since everything else about these is superior, I'd hoped the toe would be as well). The deep traction has served me well. There was a nice bumpy pattern on the squares as well but it's wearing down (not to mention getting covered in liquid nails, tar, and so on). Despite that, the sturdy structure of the outer has kept me from flying off a roof so far (that sounds like some famous last words right there, doesn't it...) Also, the bottom does handle extreme high temperatures well and resists deformation. Still, the heat transfers through so I've had the bottoms of my feet burning despite thick boots and double socks. With other shoes the feet don't get burned but the cheaper rubber simply melts (thus ruining the roof that's all of three hours old). I wish I'd bought 1.5 sizes smaller instead of 1.0, and I really should be taking better care of the leather than I do, but all things considered they are worthy companions.

Really nice, very well made solid, solid leather steel toe boots. I love them they look good, take a beating well and will definitely last a long long time, you can tell by looking and feeling how well these are actually made and put together just in the fact it took my 3 days or so to fully even break in the thick well conditioned and perfectly stitched together leather. Literally my only quarrel, if you buy these, get you a pair of your favorite dr scholl's or whatever insert for arch support or whatever you like but wwhooooooweee these things are harder than a mother with the insoles it comes with and 0 arch support so super nice solid boots with very solid insoles as well literally lol. So get some insoles if you have to wear them all day and walk around because the standard inside is harder than a motherf***** 😂. Outside if that one minor and easily fixed thing, these are my favorite work boots I've ever owned, already got my dad and my brother each a pair as well 👍👍

After one week, these seem like a great pair of work boots. Details: SIZE: These run a full size wider than most brands, and 1/2 to 3/4 of a size longer. I ordered and returned sizes 11.5 W and 11M, before realizing 10.5M fits me best in this boot. (By comparison, my current Timberland steel are 11.5 eee; my Northface ski are 12 M, and my New Balance hikes are 11.5 dd.) FIT: This is a roomy toebox, which I much prefer over tighter ones. If this is your first pair of steel-toe footware, remember that the toebox will not mold to your feet as most shoes would. As other reviewers have noted, the ankle area also runs large (good for when your feet swell in the afternoon!). To correct for that, try tieing once at the top of the eyelets and repeat with a full knot after lacing through the upper rivets. COMFORT: The sole is very thick, and both midsole and uppers take a while to break in. Mine are a bit comfier than they were last week, but my best guess is these will take another full 1-2 weeks to breakin. QUALITY: A few reviewers noted loose stiches. My pair do not have that issue. Perhaps Cat has some quality control issues. If you get a bad pair, send them back to Amazon for free as defective. The three pairs I recived (for sizing) all looked sturdy and of equally-exceptional quality. The leather grain is coarse and may arrive looking scuffed -- that's normal, these are for work, and to keep costs down you're not likely to get a pair that looks like it came of the shelves of a Gucci store. OVERALL: Great value. Highly recommended.

I will be the first to say that I did NOT expect much from these at the price point they are. That being said... I am thoroughly satisfied with these boots! I'm 6'2 280lbs and work in a Saw Mill and have 20 foot green boards (sometimes) landing on my toes and the steel toe holds up wonderfully. I kick boards daily, run up and down metal scaffolding for 12 hours a day. They feel like a pair of sneakers, and of all things my feet don't hurt after a work day which is all I can ask for. BUT let me add that ***I wear custom insoles*** as I have flat feet so bear that in mind. Also bear in mind that these are not slip resistant, I don't think they say they are but I just wanted to clarify. The photo I have provided is at 120 of use in a 2 week timeframe, and they are not cleaned or anything. You be the judge of what you expect but at this point I would but them again, I will update as time goes on!
