I have two very large boys-grey one is 16lbs and the brown one is 18lbs for reference-and this is the first sturdy yet soft carrier I could find that fits them comfortably. The second I opened it up, they were both in it and have enjoyed napping inside so much that I haven't folded it back up. I LOVE that the top zipper opening is very large and therefore easy to get them in for a vet visit in a hurry if they are not so inclined. I had a previous carrier with similar dimensions but the top opening was too narrow to be really useful. Haven't taken it out for travel or an appt but walked around the house with each of them inside and it seemed sturdy and wasn't pulling under their weight. I like this type of carrier for vet visits over the soft crates with hard frames. They each have enough room that I feel comfortable traveling with them in it for a small road trip if need be. If you want your large cats to have plenty of room in a carrier that's not heavy on its own, this is your winner!!!! I've tried about a dozen for them before and this is my favorite.

I love this I got this for my kitten he only 4 months right now big already 5lbs he going get around 22lbs when full grown being a ragdoll and this looks big enough hold him once gets older. The large is a nice large size big enough for my cat to stand & turn around & sit up, they also have room to lay down how ever they want. The board is ok, not real heavy duty, the cover is soft to the tuch but definitely not padded soft, it feels basically like a cover on a board. This is so light it's easy to carry even in this large size, easier then the hard carrier's. I use the shoulder straps but also the handle at the same time just in case a strap breaks. The medium size was smaller then expected, was too small for my smallest cat, she fit in there noise to tail without the door shut & would not have been able to mice around, she's about 9 pounds. The large one is great tho, wish the updated ones were cheaper & had a more padded pad inside.

Love this carrier. Even since the kittens have grown and are going on 7 months now, they still love this carrier. They love it so much, I leave it out and they even sleep in it at night. They both pile in and smush each other to be in it. Truthfully, they won't have it any other way because I tried separating them into separate carriers and it was an ordeal for all of us. I love it because I'm happy they're happy. All the entry/exit doors are a blessing when they were young and would fight me on going in a carrier and the pockets are great for me to keep vet records or pop them in there the night before. I added their blankets from when I rescued them to soften and smell like them. I also love the name tag. All in all, we love it and it makes life easier.

I originally bought one intended for my two kittens. Worked out great, but they grew too heavy for me to carry in one carrier (I’m recovering from surgery). They would both still fit, but I couldn’t handle the weight. I bought another and it’s perfect now. Very easy to use with two opening choices. Soft comfy bottom for them. It’s soft sided, which I prefer, but sturdy and well made.
