I have used this bag for a 7 pound dog and a 10 pound cat with equal success. The bag is soft so it collapses and stores in very little space. I would only fly with this as a carry-on since it provides no hardened outer protective structure. There is no top zipper, so your pet will need to be OK entering/exiting from the end (you cat owners will know what I mean). The mesh windows are sufficiently sized and appear to be sturdy enough to last.

I bought this carrier for my new 12 week old kitten. He was easily able to rip tiny holes in the mesh when trying to escape. I was actually quite concerned that he would escape the carrier during our flight, but luckily he did not. It held up to his crazy kitten temper tantrums, but he did create alot of holes in the mesh, which was concerning. At first the comfort of the carrier seemed great! The frame held shape and seemed to work great, but it didn't last. By the time I got off the plane the frame had lost its shape. The tops and side just caved in more and more as time went on. He was very cramped by the end of the trip and I was unable to stabilize the frame shape.

I can't believe how much you get for your money with this carrier. It is perfect for my small dog. I took it out of the box and put it down on the floor so she could get used to it and she seemed to know right away that it was for her. It is really cute and cozy and she can see out from both sides plus the top and it is so well made!!!! I know I'm gushing and believe me I'm not getting paid or anything but this bag is just amazing I don't know how they can charge so little and use such good fabric. I highly recommend it.

This item is very good for traveling. My bunny loves it and you can’t tell what kind of animal you’re carrying because of the mesh.

Worked great to transport my 10 week old 9 pound corgi. Very well made. Pockets nice for holding things. Favorite items: the collapsing water bowl that came with it and the soft, fluffy pad inside. Would have enjoyed more color choices.
