Good size for a small or medium sized cat, and little dogs and puppies. No issues with zippers yet, and color matches photos. The bottom isn't like a hard shell bottom at all though, so if you have a pet that gets more nervous with balance and being rocked, you'll need a hard shelled one instead. Lifesaver

I used for my 4 week old kitten to keep him safe from his surroundings and my prey driven dog. Kitty used it as a bed, his safe place, and as a carrier. I was able to use to control kitty's introduction to the dog; letting the dog see and smell him, be nose to nose while still ensuring kitty was perfectly saft. It's perfect! It keeps me warm in three different settings. It's also very well made and lined with a soft, warm lining. The hood does come off. The battery lasts 24 hours if fully charged. I have 0 complaints and will only buy my winter gear from here or this brand.

Great for small cats!

My kitten loved it: whenever I brought it out, he jumped right in and was rarin' to go. He's now 7+ pounds, and the weight of the carrier and 6+ pound cat, are too heavy for me. The product is well made, sturdy, and easy to keep clean. There are plenty of air vents, too. It's a great adventure for your cat, just not suitable for me.
