  • A plush life-changer
Size: Queen Style: Mattress
Let me tell you that this is THE most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I have complained to my partner for months about my back hurting, and I thought it was the way I slept or maybe from sitting at my desk at work. I knew my previous mattress wasn’t comfortable, but I didn’t think that it was the root of my constant pain. I decided to switch over mattresses since I read good reviews about the brand itself. The same night I switched over was the same night I felt instant relief on my body. I damn near teared up as soon as I felt the plushness of this mattress and the way it softened every movement I made. It was a joy to sleep again. I hadn’t felt excited to sleep in a long time. My days of being a night owl are behind me as I embrace my early sleep schedule in my own personal cloud. ... show more

  • Side-sleeper approved
Size: Queen Style: Mattress
I'm a curvy mid-aged female and have been experiencing shoulder and hip pain. I'm a 100% side-sleeper and tend to flip-flop frequently during the night. My hips were beginning to bother me a lot more sleeping on a firmer innerspring mattress. I prefer a softer plush mattress and after researching quite a few of the new bed-in-a-box brands, the Casper Hybrid sounded like the right choice at a reasonable price point. I've had it for a little over a week now and the balance of softness and support feels just right, especially in the hip area. I'm waking up less frequently to turn over because of pain. My only concern about the mattress was a lingering, mildly mildewy smell that has finally faded after several days (or I am noseblind to it now). I had the mattress on the floor for a few days until my new foundation arrived, so I think getting it off the floor has helped it air out more. I did not purchase the Casper foundation, but instead got a less expensive "ZINUS 9 Inch Metal Smart Box Spring/Mattress Foundation" which works very well with my bed frame and the mattress. I found Amazon's ship time to be faster than any other retailer and even then it arrived a couple days earlier than expected. In the box, it is super heavy, and I was grateful the driver carried it over the threshold for me! It's best to unbox it where you plan to keep it, because it inflates quickly and is an unweildy beast to move. ... show more

  • Thank you for curing my back pain!
Size: King Style: Mattress
I have been suffering from extreme back pain ever since I bought my last mattress from Ikea one year ago. I purposely bought an extra firm Ikea mattress (8/10) because I had a super soft foam mattress (2/10) prior to that one, which I believe is where my back pain started. To be honest, I wasn’t a believer of the special engineering of these kinds of mattresses and thought the major reason for my pain were due to past injuries, work and personal related stress. As time went on, the pain got worse. I went to see a chiropractor and an acupuncture specialist and it wasn’t working. So I started to work out and do regularly back stretches. The pain got even worse, especially in the mornings. I’ve looked for numerous ways to cure myself and even wore a back brace for a year. I’ve researched for the past 9 months for a self-cure and one of the last things on my list was to change my newly bought super firm mattress. I read on health.com that people with back pain shouldn’t actually sleep on firmer mattresses, but should sleep on a softer foam/latex mattress at a firmness level of (6.5/10). So after reviewing multiple mattresses for months, I was about to get the Bear Hybrid Mattress as it seemed to me that athletes appreciated the recovery the Bear mattress provided them. I then found a review on tuck.com about the Casper original and how it’s best for light weight sleepers. Digging deeper, I found the Casper original hybrid, a 1/2 foam and 1/2 coils mattress with firmer zone support and longer lasting materials compared to the original. I found the Casper hybrid at an even cheaper price on Amazon then Casper’s official website and shipping would only take 2 days, rather than 2 weeks. 2 days later, the Casper hybrid arrives outside my door in a well packed, tall large box. It was heavy but I was able to manage it myself. I wiped it down before opening it on my bed frame. It expanded within seconds and I was very surprised that there was no smell at all. I gave the new mattress a wipe down and let it sit for a few hours before trying it. (I read that we should let a new mattress sit for 24-48 hours but this Casper hybrid was ready to go out of the box.) 2 hours later, I woke up realizing that I passed out while trying out the new mattress. I remember laughing with pure happiness before passing out. I felt like I was sleeping on bouncy clouds while gently being placed on top of it. The support for my shoulder and lower back dissolved the pain I had for years almost immediately. I thought to myself, I should have got this sooner. After sleeping on the Casper hybrid for the last couple days, the pain I use to wake up with every morning has disappeared 95%. Along with doing my daily stretches and massages, I wake up every morning 100% a brand new man. Thank you for curing my back pain! -Firmness Level 5.5-5.7/10. -No smell and ready to use out of the box. -Bouncy cloud feeling while gently being placed on top of it. -Great zone support and pressure relief. -Best for light weight and average weight sleepers. -Im a front sleeper, but I sleep on my back and sides very comfortably. -Edge support is not the best but very good considering the construction. -Mobilization transfer is not the best but good. -100 day free trail and 10 year basic warranty. -No home setup and no service to take old mattress away due to Covid. -Amazon is cheaper and has faster shipping options. I hope my honest review could help some of you out there. Recovery is so important, and this kind of investment is worth every penny. I would also recommend to do your daily stretches, massages and nightly hot bath sessions to speed up your recovery, all the best! ... show more

  • Very, very comfortable
Size: Queen Style: Mattress
I cant say enough good things about this mattress. I was looking everywhere for a mattress and no local stores had anything in stock, 4 weeks wait minimum due to covid. I got on Amazon and found I could get a Casper delivered in 2 days, awesome, done deal. Delivery was on time and convenient. The box was pretty heavy and a little awkward to maneuver by myself, but it got it by dragging it lol. Laid the box on its side, pulled the mattress out, and dragged it down the hall to the bedroom. Unrolling it was a fun process though if they can come up with a way to ship these without all the plastic that would be great. So there is a lot of plastic film/bag waste, that's my only gripe. I enjoyed watching it expand into a real queen size mattress. Comfort wise this bed is great, soft yet firm, the best of both worlds. Its not too soft, not like a pillow top, but it does have some squish before you get to the firmer level. The springs are great, gives it a bounce that you don't get with straight foam mattresses. I keep a mattress protector on mine to keep my night nastiness from absorbing into the mattress. This thing has gotten more comfortable the longer I've had it, I waited the full 100 days before writing this review and needless to say i kept the mattress. There does seem to be a break in period, or maybe it was just my back adjusting to a good mattress after sleeping on cheap ones for years. Also, I did have some back pain a few times on this mattress, but it turned out to be due to my pillows. I got a memory foam pillow and have had zero issues since. Its personal preference for sure, my previous pillows just had my neck jacked up too high. ... show more

  • Terrible Mattress - Do Not Buy (details
Size: King Style: Mattress
1. Tried for 2 full months. 2. Fully aired out; uncovered for 72 hours. Then removed covers everyday for 3 weeks. 3. Replaced an 18 yr old higher end Serta. Complaints: 1. Worst sleep of our lives. Have slept better at a Motel 6 (thought that was the bottom!) 2. Terrible for side and stomach sleepers. Wife developed debilitating shoulder pain over the past 1.5 months. 3. Just plain uncomfortable. 4. Could rarely sleep more than 5 hours; both of us would end up tossing and turning for another 2-3 hours trying to get "rest". 5. Weirdo dreams. Like Fever dreams. The first few weeks we attributed it to the smell of glue that was mildly persistent. This was the worst period. After that we got a waterproof cover to muffle the fumes. Dreams were not as bad, but still never really had good ram sleep. Positive: 1. Sleeping in one position on my back was good from a body ache perspective. No aches or pains. Improvement over our 18 yr old bed. However, turning to side or stomach did result in pain. I got about 5 good hours of dreamless sleep without pain. Then would lay in a twilight state...thinking about everyday crap. Casper has a great marketing dept. Do NOT fall for the hype. ... show more

  • Very comfortable, quick to inflate, no issues with permanent dipping whatsoever.
Size: King Style: Mattress
This product was a breeze to set up. We cleared a space on our bedroom floor and cut open the plastic holding the vacuum seal. I didn't even cut very far before the whooshing of the air inflating the bed did the rest of the work. It was 95% inflated in the first 10 seconds, with only one corner not fully inflated (see my included pictures). It was 98%, maybe even 99% inflated by the time I went to sleep and by the next morning that corner was completely inflated. It took me about 5 days to make up my mind that this bed feels so good. I am coming from a Sleep Number bed that was pretty comfortable so I couldn't make up my mind since this felt different than my very soft (read: barely inflated) sleep number. However after around day 5 I realized that this bed was so much better than any bed I'd ever slept on. I have had zero issues with the bed retaining heat or leaving a permanent impression or dip, which were the two biggest concerns I had read about people having with foam mattresses that come in a box. In fact, the bed springs instantly back to the right shape once I get up. It's not a slow rise as the memory foam reinflates. And this isn't because I'm a little person - I'm a big dude and there is absolutely no difference between my wife's side and my side after a few months of use. 5/5 would recommend. ... show more
