I absolutely love this watch. I’ve been wearing it every day and it has quickly become my go-to. It looks great, is comfortable to wear, and has held up really well with everyday use with no scratches or anything. I also really like the style — it has that classic Casio look without feeling too bulky on my wrist. The functions are easy to use once you get familiar with them, and the watch keeps time reliably. I am an 80s kid so this old school watch with its style is my favorite of my 22 watches. It has a stopwatch, countdown timers, and world time functions that are easy to use and navigate. It has a low profile on the wrist which makes it nice to wear under long sleeve shirts. The band is comfortable and does not fee like it will crack or split. I most like the amber glow of the backlighting that reminds of the 80s. If you are on the fence about the watch just go for it! Its well worth it.

I am watch enthusiast and have many Casio watches in the collection. This watch is a valuable addition. The amount of functionality this watch has is surprising. It is quad time zone(not dual) It has other basic things like alarm, stop watch, count down timer as well as backlight duration control. The watch was already running when I received & hence I dont think the battery can run 10 years. The band is very flexible & comfortable. Size of the watch is perfect for my wrist. The analog dial is a nice touch, but the hands are barely visible. The standout is world map, that shows the current timezone. I would recommend this watch if you like wearing beautiful things that dont break the bank.

Last updated: 7 Aug. 2019, 3 yrs. 9 months after original purchase. I purchased this watch Nov 2015, and the band broke June 2017. The band lasted just over 1.5 years. Note that I wore it 24/7 the *entire* 1.5 years! I literally only took it off to switch wrists probably 4 times over that period. It was on all day, all night, in the shower, in the pool, at the beach, in sports, etc etc you get the point. I love this watch because it is super cheap (~$15) yet it has multiple alarms and a countdown timer instead of just a stopwatch timer. It's basically a G-shock quality watch for $15 instead of $45. When the band did break, it broke very suddenly! I didn't see any cracks on it or anything, but I literally rubbed my wrist across an object while turning and the band tore in two and the whole watch fell right off my wrist. Upon closer inspection, I saw cracks all along the inside of the band against my wrist, and if I bent the band hard it would break in other locations too. So, replaced the band with a nice durable nylon nato strap! I used this one (Replacement 18mm nato strap nylon watch band - Black, 5 ring Black PVD Buckle). It cost me < $10 and is an excellent watch strap! It (luckily) came with 2 pcs 18mm x 1.4mm spring bars instead of 18mm x 1.8mm diameter spring bars, which would have been too thick for this watch since there is so little space between the bars and the watch. This Casio watch comes originally with 2 pcs 18mm x 1.8mm diam spring bars, which are too thick when used with this nato strap. For the 18mm x 1.4mm bars, with a little work and a flathead screwdriver used to press the bar down hard against the strap (first to make an indentation in the band, with the bar not placed yet, and 2nd to press the bar into place), I was able to make this strap with the 1.4mm diam bars fit this watch! If you want to use a nato strap, expect it to be a very tight fit, and MAKE SURE TO GET A STRAP THAT IS 1.4~1.5mm thick max, and spring bars that are 18mm x 1.3~1.5mm MAX DIAMETER, *NOT* 1.8mm diameter. Otherwise it will be impossible to make it fit I think. I also used a spring bar tool (Ritche Professional 360pc Watch Band Stainless Steel Link Pins,spring Bars+remover Repair Tool (8-25mm)), which helped remove the old bars and situate the new bars, and I used a large flathead screwdriver with quite a bit of pressure to press the spring bar into place, indenting it against the watch, once the band was in place. Awesome watch! Awesome 18mm nato strap I've linked to above! Great combo together! I expect this combo to last me many more years than the original resin strap did. Update 7 Aug. 2019: I've had the watch now for 3.75 years. I've worn it 24/7 during this entire time: all day, all night, in the shower every day for nearly 4 years, while exercising, etc. I've only taken it off about a dozen times to switch wrists is all. I've had the 18mm nato strap on it for > 2 years (from June 2017 to today, Aug 2019). Somewhere around 10 months to a year ago, one of the the spring bars broke out of the plastic hole on the watch due to excessive pressure since the nato strap was such a tight fit. So, I simply drilled 2 tiny holes in the watch and ran some 50 lb fishing line through and tied it off. Problem solved! That lasted about another year until the watch got water inside it just last week while swimming. I wonder if it was due to those holes I drilled somehow letting water in. I should have drilled sideways through the plastic tabs in the same holes where the spring bar used to connect instead of drilling down through the side of the plastic case like I did. Lesson learned: I'll do that next time. Anyway, time for another watch. Buying this same one would be a good buy. My only complaints about this watch are: 1. It's bigger than preferred (I'd prefer a women's size watch honestly due to carpal tunnel wrist pain caused by doing pushups for decades and typing all day--the larger mens watches like this jam up into my wrist while doing pushups and exacerbate the situation) 2. The time zone gets changed randomly sometimes while exercising or doing pushups, since a button accidentally gets pressed. 3. The countdown timer has second-resolution (yaaay!, that's good!) but does *not* have the auto-repeat feature the G-Shock I had years ago had, which means I have to manually restart the watch after each countdown. I liked having the option to make it auto-restart the countdown when doing things like running laps or doing repetitive drills where I want to switch the activity every X seconds or minutes. That's all, folks. It's a good watch at a good price. 4 years 24/7 is highly respectable. And the nato strap? It's still in great shape. Good for another 6 years or so I bet (10 years total).

Whether you have heard about this watch, or if you have not and are just stumbling across it, it is a great watch, so long as you are aware of a couple things that are annoying enough to make me dock one star (but it is still fantastic!): 1) Be very careful when removing and reinstalling the back cover. You probably won't ever need to, but if you do, do NOT over tighten the screws when reinstalling the cover, as the screws are metal but thread into plastic, and the plastic threads will get stripped if you over tighten. Best to tighten only until snug, or better yet just don't remove the cover at all. 2) The crystal (front transparent panel, if you don't know much about watches) is plastic, and WILL get scratched. You cannot really prevent this without a screen protector, which I don't suggest spending money on, as this watch is meant to be a very cheap beater. Just be aware that the shiny clear front that you see when you open the box will not stay that way for long. I bought this watch for $16, and as a person who is not really into watches in general, I could not be happier. The world time and map display are actually super cool and work very well, and the ability to see your local time zone AND home time at any moment by just glancing on your wrist is awesome. The "analog" clock in the upper left is awesome, as you can keep the time shown at all times including when you are running a timer and stopwatch, which is something that even many smart watches don't do. It is super light and comfy to the point where I can lounge at home and almost forget I am wearing it (although maybe not quite so much that I can sleep in it). It FEELS like it costs (all plastic), but it still somehow feels... good to wear? The alarms are wonderful. Having up to 5 at once is super useful, and I LOVE that you can set the alarms to turn off after they go off OR make them go off every day. Be advised, the alarms will always go off according to your T-1 time ( the time displayed on your upper left "analog" clock), so if you change time zones and use daily alarms make sure you set the T-1 time from your home time zone to your current LOCAL time zone upon reaching your destination (super easy to by pressing both upper buttons). The hourly chimes are good too, loud enough to remind you that time is passing, but not so loud that they are distracting or startling. I wish there was a way to auto disable them during sleeping hours, but at this price beggars can't be choosers. I am absolutely blown away by how capable this thing is for this price. I am struggling to understand how the F91W is so popular after seeing how much more capable this thing is for essentially the same price. I plan to use it as a beater watch for working around the house and garage, and as a travel watch that I don't have to care about in terms of getting damaged, lost, or submerged while swimming.

I have a small collection of watches but this quickly became my favorite. It’s not quite as stylish as some of the others I own, but it doesn’t look bad in most environments and its features set it apart. A nifty ability to change time zones easily, a light for night situations, easily readable time and date. It’s just such an easy watch to throw on and go. So far the band and clasp are holding up well and the case itself is fairly durable. I am getting some light scratches on the glass but nothing too bad yet. It’s just the perfect blend of function and “fashion” in that it’s a good watch you can wear at work or in a workshop, playing sports or watching TV. It just works.

Bought this as a gift for my son and it immediately became his favorite thing to wear. The dual analog and digital display is what sold me — he's still learning to read an analog clock face, so having both on the same watch makes it genuinely useful for practice while still giving him all the digital features kids love. Couldn't have asked for a better setup for his age. The build quality is classic Casio — nothing flashy, just solid and reliable. 100M water resistance means I don't have to worry about it at the pool or in the rain, which at 8 years old is a real consideration. Light enough that he forgets he's wearing it, sturdy enough that it can take the daily abuse an active kid puts a watch through. The stopwatch and multiple alarms are features he actually uses, and the illuminated display means he can check the time anywhere. Battery life is the other thing Casio always gets right — this will run for years without needing attention. For a kid's first real watch, the combination of functionality, durability, and that iconic Casio reliability is hard to beat at this price. He loves it and so do I.

I’ve been wearing this Casio AE1200WH-1A for a while now, and it’s honestly hard to beat for the price. It has that classic Casio look that never really goes out of style, and it feels lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day without even noticing it’s there. The features are what really stand out. World time, multiple alarms, stopwatch, countdown timer, and a clear backlight — everything works exactly as expected. The display is easy to read, even at a glance, and the buttons are responsive without feeling cheap. The resin strap is comfortable and durable, and it doesn’t irritate my wrist like some budget watches can. Accuracy has been spot on, which is what you expect from a Japanese quartz movement. Battery life is excellent, and I don’t feel like I’ll need to worry about replacing it anytime soon. It’s a great everyday watch for work, travel, or casual wear, especially if you want something reliable without spending a lot. If you’re looking for a dependable, functional, and affordable digital watch, this Casio is a no-brainer. Five stars without hesitation.
