I REALLY REALLY want to like this watch. I spoke with a man on a recent trip that had this watch and immediately ordered mine. It's lightweight but not to the point that it feels cheap. I love the way it feels on my wrist as well. It has a very sporty look about it, I've received several compliments on it in the last couple of days Programming is straightforward, not over complicated at all IMHO.Just hold the adjust button down till it beeps then scroll through the modes and adjust with the other 2 buttons. If you change the time you press the adjust button to sync the hands with the digital display. Pretty basic. All that being said I must agree with some of the other reviewers and say 1) The red hour hand is hard to see in less than perfect light. It may just be my old eyes but I just can't pick it up nearly as quickly as the minute hand. 2) The illumination is pretty inferior. It does light the minute hand pretty well but the red hour is still hard too see. It is less than useless for the digital display. I've all but decided to return this watch because of its poor low light capabilities. I just ordered a Rangeman as a potential replacement, i'll see how I like it and then make a decision on which to return. ... show more

This was bought for a Christmas present to someone this watch is nowhere near worth the money it does not illuminate like it should you can't see the hands to me it was misrepresented it shows Illuminating beautifully that you can just touch it and it will light right up it wasn't the case for this one I was very disappointed and to know that the person that I bought this present for is not wearing this watch because they're kind of hard of seeing and cannot see the hands hardly at all and I have good eyesight 20/20 vision And I couldn't see it didn't illuminate as it was supposed to ... show more

The Casio G Shock has many fakes popping up everywhere now, so its more common to accidentally buy a fake one online. e cannot inspect the watch in person, adding uncertainty.
