The media could not be loaded. I have an off grid home nestled in the Huron national Forest of Northern Michigan. I have several small versions of this light that run off of AA batteries. I have one in the kitchen on top of the refrigerator and one on the bathroom counter. The idea is so that when people get up during the night and they walk out of their bedroom, the light on top of the refrigerator comes on, then as they enter the bathroom, the light on the counter comes on and people can see. Otherwise, they need a flashlight or they need to turn a generator on to get power, which then wakes everyone in the house up. Although my small versions of these lights work, they are an absolute drain on the batteries. I swear I change the batteries every other month in them and they barely get used. This is an absolute fantastic alternative because it has a USB-C rechargeable battery in it. It comes with a remote control so you can adjust the brightness and the temperature of the light. It’s much larger than my current ones so it’s going to illuminate my kitchen, dining area and the living room of my tiny 900 square-foot house. The rechargeable feature of this is going to save me considerable money on batteries. This light is absolutely perfect for my house. I love the fact that I can adjust the brightness and the temperature of the light to fit my mood or my needs. It comes with a bracket that makes it easy to install on the wall or ceiling. As I stated, mine will just sit on top of the refrigerator. It does also have an on off switch in the event you want to shut it off completely. The motion sensor seems to work really well but again, my house is very tiny. When I walk out of my bedroom, I am only about 15 feet away from the light. The motion sensor catches me and turns on as soon as I turn out of my bedroom door. Everything about the light functions absolutely perfectly. At the time I ordered this, it was $30. There was also a 30% off coupon at that time. With the coupon I think this is worth the money. Without the coupon, for $30 I just think this is just a really expensive piece of plastic with a rechargeable battery in it. Don’t get me wrong, it works perfect and I really like it. it just seems overpriced to me without the coupon. I was going to order a second one for my bathroom because I like it so much however, I feel even on the low setting this one might be a bit too bright. And again, I just think it’s expensive.

I like the product nice design good battery life easy installation. Only one negative the sensor doesn’t pick up as well as other lights. You have to practically be underneath it for it to light up. I have it in the garage so I don’t use it all the time so it’s great for that application.

In the past I kept buying Motion Sensor Closet Lights and I would invariably be disappointed from the get-go, that is, until Now! I really am impressed by this 7 x 7 x 2 inch rechargeable automatic motion censoring LED 500 Lumens Closet Light that weighs less than two pounds. I especially like the convenience of the remote this four color and dimmable device has that not only works well in a closet but also on a stairway, porch, storage room, hall or pantry, shed, etc. The wireless battery that is 1000mAh also comes with a USB cable that with normal use can last up to 3 months on a full charge. When using the Motion Sensor mode it triggers on automatically when it is in a dark environment if you pass this light between 9 to 16 feet. Now, when motion is no longer detected it will turn itself off after 20 seconds to preserve the battery. It can also be turned on or off and another feature gives you the choice of four different light temperatures and five levels of brightness. Installation is easy with the screws and gables included and I found that it can be either be mounted on the ceiling or wall, plus I just used heavy duty double-sided tape and it stays put this fine. I followed the instructions to fully charge the light before using it and I am enjoying this Closet Light on a daily basis!

I have an unfinished basement and although there is fluorescent lighting, it doesn't cover the whole area adequately. It's difficult to tell which clothes have stains when trying to do my laundry. So I got this light which works wonderfully. First, it is motion activated so I don't have to fumble for a light switch in a dark basement - the light switches are in the middle of the room so I typically use a flashlight to make my way. Second, it has a remote so even if I didn't use the motion sensor I can turn it on remotely. It provides enough light to see now which is a game changer for me. Also I don't worry about turning it off since I have the sensor activated. I'm sorry I didn't order something like this sooner.

I used this to provide light to a very dark laundry room that has the light switch in a weird spot. The sensitivity is not as quick as I'd like it to be, but this will probably save battery life in the long run. Charged overnight and I used adhesive squares to stick it to the wall, instead of the ceiling. Maybe putting it on the wall instead is part of the sensitivity issue? Overall, I really enjoy it.

This worked right out of the box, but I decided to fully charge it before putting it up. I let it overnight and it was fully charged the next morning. I just got it so can't say how long a full charge lasts, but it took a while to charge so I'm hoping it lasts for a while. It comes with all the mounting hardware (which doesn't take much), the charging cable and a remote for changing the brightness. I mounted it in our walk-in closet and what a difference it makes. Nice build quality that should last a long time.

This was installed with 2 screws. I attached it to plywood and didn't need to make pilot holes, but that would be a personal choice. The light has a red light while charging that turns green when fully charged. This makes it easy to know when the battery is fully charged. I used the motion-activated option and now I have light when I open the closet door. Yeah. The remote can be used if someone wants to easily turn it on manually, though.
