My son ALWAYS wants to make s’mores. During the winter here it’s just too cold and snowy to start a campfire though and even in the summer the mosquitoes bug the heck out of me. So we’ve started doing this thing where we’ll have indoor camping trips. We’ll set up a blanket fort, watch a movie, use his toy lantern with the lights off, and roast marshmallows over this little fire. The media could not be loaded. Looks expensive ( and is ) but this piece will likely last long after you grow tired of it! It can double as a candle holder if you no longer want to use as a mini personal fire pit. Classic modernist styling. I have 3 small issues/concerns: 1) Lack of thorough instructions- I almost threw out the cotton pad, instruct. didn't explain how to use it. 2) The flame doesn’t last very long even on a full fill. FYI I used 70% isopropyl alcohol. 3) Seems a bit risky, the flame movement and height was sort of erratic, please do not leave unattended! It would have been nice if they included a safe tool to light it with. Not everyone has a long neck lighter on hand. GOOD TO KNOW: The alcohol fuel does not taint the taste of your roasted marshmallow in case you were wondering. Do not blow out your marshmallow near the flame! ... show more

It works pretty good and it's actually very nice to have. Although I recommend using it outside since the flame could get pretty wild and the smell is not so pleasant, it weighs nice and is just a nice little piece to have.

When this fire pit came I thought it was going to be a little bigger than it is. The shape is modern and it looks good, but the terra fuel that I use with my other indoor fire pit does not fit in the holder, so I have to spoon the gel fuel into the holder to use it, which makes it a little harder to use than the other one I have that fits the can. If it was just a little bigger this would be five star, since the can would fit, but overall it is a relaxing centerpiece that is a great addition to modern decor and can be used either indoors or outdoors when entertaining. ... show more

I LOVE this lil firepit! It doesn't take up much room, but it's nice to look at and adds to the aesthetic in the room. It's super easy to use, I fill it with isopropyl alcohol and light with a long neck lighter. When I'm roasting marshmallows on the fire, there is no weird taste or smell like with some grills. I haven't ventured out into making any other foods on here, but a hot dog seems doable. Sometimes I just light thr fire to have a nice ambiance. I'm so glad I ordered this and would get another if something happened to this one. These would also make a great gift! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We ordered this fire pit to use on our patio to toast marshmallows or to add ambiance to those special evenings. It runs off of simple rubbing alcohol and is very easy to use. Comes with a snuffer to put it out as well. Cool addition to our patio decor.
