So switching machine brands has been a learning curve, having to adjust grind/weight for this machine… but I’ve almost got it figured out and I think I’m liking this machine more than my old De’Longhi. I like seeing the pressure gage and it’s 20 bar (5 more than my old machine)…. This as of yet doesn’t seem to make any difference in the extraction itself though, but has helped dial in how I grind and measure my coffee much faster, and fine tune extraction time. What I do find annoying is it just stops if it can’t force water through the puck- my De’Longhi machine did not do that- it kept at it even if the extraction barely dripped out. Also, seeing the pressure makes me feel like i have to release the steam after I turn it off so it’s not built up in the machine/ I never did that with my old one… maybe that’s why it only lasted 3.5 years. So maybe that’s a plus! The water reservoir holds a good amount- just right in my opinion- I don’t have to refill too often but also it’s small enough water doesn’t start creating slime or scale in it either. I bought a open bottom normal portafilter for this, I don’t care for the pressurized baskets it comes with. I also think the steam wand is too fat- I installed a rancilio wand on my De’Longhi that I’m missing now- however this one definitely works great with no issue- it’s just a personal preference, and what I was used too. I’m sure in time I’ll get used to this one though, it’s certainly good quality, just different. This machine has instructions for adjusting water output too which my old machine did not. It does seem to run a bit colder than advertised for the espresso, even if I make sure my portafilter is preheated. Steam is as it should be temp wise. Overall, I recommend this as a great intro machine- and since you can upgrade the portafilter later (the CAPFEI 51mm one for Gevi machines item# US-PF-Gevi-ABS1 fits perfectly) it’s also versatile for more experience baristas. As it ships with the pressurized baskets, even a newbie with the included instructions can make a latte though. It would be a ideal machine for those with airBnB’s that want to upgrade from a crappy kurig too, as the instructions included make it pretty idiot proof. Most of the machine is metal- the drip tray cover, casing etc. so it is attractive enough on the counter. Some Trim pieces do seem to be chrome look plastic, but the majority is metal and it appears to be a quality product. It is MUCH lighter than my De’Longhi though weight wise. Weather that’s good or bad, that’s up to you I suppose. The feet are little suction cups which is cool, it stays where you put it, and helps with leverage locking the portafilter in place. Since it’s metal, You can even stick magnets to it (I use a magnet hook to hold my portafilter when not in use). There is no water filter in the reservoir or a way to add one though- my other machine had an attachment that let you add a charcoal filter within the tank… but since I only use bottled distilled water in it it’s not a huge concern for me, but for those that want to use tap water… don’t. I would NOT recommend you use tap water in this as there’s No filter and the tiny mesh where the water port is isn’t really attached well so it’s pointless to stop particulates like lime and calcium floaties and other minerals from getting into the machine… not to mention the dissolved minerals in tap water…just get distilled water. All I can hope for now is that it lasts and doesn’t break down, as I truly hate sending things off to the landfill that should be made to last much longer. 🤞🏼

I really like this new espresso machine, and the only complaint that I have is that on two different occasions, in the past two weeks, the machine was leaking water. After cleaning up the mess, I put new water in the reservoir and placed it once again in the back of the machine. This time I put it in and I pulled it back out and gave it a little bit of a push to make sure that it was sealed. As of this moment, after three days, there is no leakage. I would highly recommend this espresso machine, not only for the price, but for the convenience of making my Cuban coffee.

This expresso machine is easy to use and makes a great espresso. The milk frother on it takes a little bit to warm up but once it does it works really well. Frothing. The water reservoir is a good size so you don't have to fill it every day. I also like that it has suction cups on the bottom so that it is not slipping around when you are trying to put the handle on the expresso machine. It is not loud and it is a great quality.

I really like this espresso machine. It looks good, it is a nice size, it makes good espresso. So far, I have had no problems or issues with the machine or the espresso I get from it. I would wish it came with a better tamper, but other than that, I am very pleased with the overall quality and and sturdiness of the machine. It provided me with a true espresso experience at home and I loved it. I would recommend checking this one out.

I love the fact that this is a 20 bar espresso maker. Most are 15. I find the espresso reminds me of getting a coffee out. I make lattes and have a quick shot when I need it. Nothing fancy here. Just great quality and value. I do wish it came with a frothing pitcher and a few other items. What you see in the picture is what it comes with. I got an external frothier to make perfect foam. The one on the unit is fine and I just know that they usually don't hold up. No complaints so far. I just like perfect crema and foam on my latte macchiatos. Being Italian, I am a coffee snob. I will admit. This unit does the job :)

My family and guests love this machine. This was a big win for me, I am saving $60 per week in going to Coffee shops to get my Espresso. It took me a minute to set up and to learn how to operate the machine correctly, but the gave really good instructions. The frothing is a little frustrating to get it done correctly but it is very easy once you learn Overall this machine good easily be in a shop instead of your home. It is very well made and easy to take apart for cleaning. This is an amazing gift for someone that loves coffee and espresso like my household does and you can save alot of money by having it.
