This blanket defies logic. Take how soft you think this is and then multiply it times 1000. It is so soft you can barely feel it against your skin. It is so soft and yet light it's like having a layer of warm sunlit air on my. My 4 cats all want to be on it and suddenly I am the most popular bed in house, because they can't have it to themselves, they must share, so now we are a pile of humans and cats and softness (plus the odd cat elbow that is surprisingly uncomfortable. i got this for my son, to put over him when he is in his wheel chair. I wanted something that was thick to keep him warm. this is not thick it is thin. and the material sheds. Its soft and bright colored pattern. I believe my son likes it. so we will keep it and see how long it last.
