Very easy to put together by yourself, but after a few uses my husband leaned back and the back broke so we have to keep it up against a wall. The back cushions flatten out quick and offer no support. Looks great if you aren’t using it daily but otherwise it is a waste of money.

Upon arrival the sofa was easy to put together. The sofa looks more of a navy than black next to other black items. Also the quality is poor after having couch up for a month the back side has disconnected after further review they used nails as you would hang pictures with instead of more sturdy nails knowing people would be up and down on the sectional. Seriously impressed- it’s comfy, stable, and was easy for 1 person to put together (you only need to attach the legs and screw in the back/side). The cushions have Velcro to keep them in place and the arm cushions have zippers to connect them. Also, all the cushions’ covers have zippers so you can wash them. The lounge attachment can only be on the right side (as shown in the photos). The purple is brighter than shown in the product photos. ***********update*********** If you’re a homebody maybe go a different route. Less than a year of daily use and the foam is wearing out/misshaping. This would be good for someone that isn’t going to sit it on everyday, it should not be your main piece of furniture. **********update*********** the back of a sectional piece has broken. The screws that keep it on the base have literally fallen out of the couch, and the plywood inside completely stripped out from the pre-installed metal screw hole things (they fell out with the screws). Will have to find a way to repair it to keep the couch useable. It looks like this same couch has multiplied in the search, each time by a different company you've never heard of, but the listing is too new to have any reviews. I'm convinced the only good reviews are from people who haven't had the couch long and never thought to return to provide updates. ... show more

The couch is really pretty but so poorly made the sofa upholstery is ripped after 2weeks. I figured I’d just have it replaced and reinforce the new one. NOPE Amazon has decided I must return it, wait for the return to go through I.e. 30 days + and reorder after my refund. What????? There’s stock on the site. Makes no sense. Very happy with this gift someone sent me. It's perfect for my small apartment. It's firm, easy to assemble, pets don't usually scratch velvet, and great for shorter individuals bc it's low to the ground. I would give 5 stars but the arm rests unzip themselves and I have a gars time zipping back up. Under $500 you can't beat that price. ... show more

    • The absolute worst piece of furniture I've ever assembled.

Every single thread for the screws to go into were obstructed with unfinished metal and chunks of debris. I literally had to hammer some of the screws into place to get them snug. Also, the inside seam where you are supposed to screw in the bolts on the underside is pretty much inaccessible by hand when trying to tighten the screws. Terrible design, terrible product. Ordered navy blue got burgundy. The sofa is decent but not what I ordered or wanted and don’t want to deal with return since is such a big ordeal and I’m pretty busy with work.
