I saw an old photo from the 19th century that had a fur like this next to a bed and I thought it would be great. I bought this immediately and loved it. Lays flat, has no smell to it, seems to be a good quality although I am finding some fragments of it occasionally around. It doesn’t move and it is just the right thickness. Looks beautiful in my bedroom and feels Wonderful!!! On my feet.

I never write reviews, but I decided to in this case. I have three dogs who are all potty trained, however, they are temperamental and spiteful at times, so carpets can be difficult to keep nice and clean at times . In the past, I would typically drop off a carpet at Stanley Steemer every two months. I tried Ruggables and did not like how the corners turned up after washing. I was also looking for a “softer look.” I opened this rug and laid it down. I did not care for it too much originally, as it was very bright white. I had every intention of returning it the next day; however, one of my dogs had other plans, so I could not. 🫤. I soaked the rug for an entire day with teabags, to try to make it more of a cream color, and then laid it back down. It is a thin rug; however, I have probably washed it about 10 times, and I think it still looks great!! I wash it on our delicate cycle, and air dry it in the dryer for two hours, and it’s perfect. I laugh about how close I came to returning it. If you’re looking for plush, this is not the right carpet, but if you’re looking for general appearance, I think it does a great job!! The dogs like how soft it is, and I don’t really care if they get it dirty, because I can just throw it in the washer! I highly recommend!!

The pictures say it all...I had only a small part of the 4x6 grey rug unfolded when Willow plopped down and is still in a deep sleep! Yes it came folded but there are no fold marks. The backing is a quality suede. It doesn't slip. It's so soft and fluffy. It's not tacky or cheap looking. It feels plush under my bare feet. My dogs LOVE it so much I'll never buy another dog bed... just fold rug to desired size. I was so afraid of what the product may really look like that I almost canceled it. Wasted time because now I've ordered another for my husband's office. The dogs spend a lot of time there and now they can be super comfortable! The rug doesn't shed and it's easy to vacuum or just shake it outside. I wasn't expecting to be happy with my new bedroom rug but what a wonderful surprise! The bedroom door has to go over it to close and no problem. Get this rug!!

So let me start by saying this carpet is so very pretty! It’s extremely soft and the maintenance isn’t that bad. I was expecting the worst based on previous reviews but honestly the shedding is minimal, especially if you vacuum it right away. Now for the negative, I’m most certainly that these carpets are not true to size. We have a very large living room and at first ordered the 6x 9 carpet because we loved it and thought the size would work. When it was delivered, we opened it, installed in our living room and were satisfied with the quality but it was too small. We returned it and ordered the largest size (8 x 10, I believe it is). I’m convinced they sent us the same carpet a second time. It’s the exact size as the previous carpet so still too small for our living room. It’s very comfortable but not what we need so we’ll likely be returning. Be cautious of the sizes otherwise, go for it!

How good of a rug? No idea, it’s mounted on my bathroom wall. My bathroom is highland cow themed and this was PERFECT for my wall to hold my hair clips and bows. I don’t notice and weird factory smells, it seems to lay flat well. I could see it being hard to clean but I won’t be walking on it. The price was way better to buy a rug than any alternatives I found. Looks and works perfectly for what I need.
