    • Great quality but hard to get heat consistent
I was so excited for this pizza oven but have had to work hard to try and get the temperature to the right heat. I’ve seen others that friends have that were easier to use. I love the size and the appearance and it was easy to install. Pizza quality has not been great but hopefully once I learn how to heat it consistently it will be better. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just got my outdoor pizza oven from the Cartman store on Amazon and it's amazing! The design is not only beautiful but also incredibly functional. It came with several useful tools like a rolling pin and a pizza wheel cutter, which are great additions. I was impressed by the careful packaging – everything was wrapped in thick bubble wrap for protection. My favorite feature has to be the manual wheel that lets you rotate the pizza for even cooking. This pizza oven is pretty nice in a lot of ways. It is well made and feels heavy duty. The pizza stone is nice and I liked the included peel for turning pizzas as well. The pizza cutter broke instantly and was unusable though, which was pretty disappointing. This oven is a small size and is good for making smaller pizzas. One issue I had is that the pellet compartment is way too small. I had to keep adding them constantly to maintain the temperature which was a bit of a pain. The ash tray for the pellets is small as well and has to be emptied frequently. Overall I think it's well made and does the job if you don't mind adding pellets constantly during the cooking process. ... show more

    • Learning curve to getting a good pizza
This Cartman outdoor pizza oven comes with everything needed to start making wood fired pizza at home. It was easy to set up and overall easy to use. The rotating pizza stone is a great addition. I will note that there is a learning curve so don’t expect your first pizza to come out perfect the first time out. My husband loves to cook and has yet to make a perfect pizza in this but he is still trying! His first attempt was black on one side and most of the dough uncooked. Second attempt resulted in similar results but slightly more edible. He has now opted for charcoal rather than wood. Don’t get discouraged is the best that I can suggest for using this. It is a great piece and with practice should result in some excellent pizzas. My Amazon rating system- Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function. Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is. Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else. ... show more
