Strong canvas material that provides good protection. Very easy to fold and unfold in hot or cold weather. Not to heavy or too bulky. A lot of functional use for our department. Been using about a year; holds up better than poly tarps by far. Got tired of woven plastic strings coming off from shade cloth and plastic tarps so decided to go with real fabric and it survived monsoon season with 60-70 mph gusts, dust storms, hail and driving rain. The reinforced grommets are sturdy, I used stainless steel zip ties to attach them because plastic zips last about 6 months in the desert sun.
