I bought this product specifically to use as a large habitat liner for my tortoise table. I got the 8x10 ft which was a bit too big for my use. It was too thick to use as a liner when folded up into four layers. So I cut it in half into 2 8x5s and one of those was perfect to line the box. (About 5x6 feet including walls) I was worried cutting it would reveal seams or frays that could tear but it’s still totally solid, and cut through like butter with a decent pair of scissors. Duct tape works well to keep it up and folding it into two even layers was made easier by tying opposing grommets together with some string, to keep them aligned. Super sturdy, 100% waterproof, and I have no doubt my tortoise can’t scratch or dig his way through it. Supports 40+ lbs of substrate on top and tons of heavy decor no problem. It also absorbs and reflects the heat lamps well, keeping the enclosure a safe and consistent temperature. ... show more

OK, so I purchased this tarp in May, and finally got it put up yesterday. I am very impressed with how strong this tarp is. It is being used on a carport cover that is 12 x 20 feet. This tarp is 14 by 20 feet, because I like to have it "hang down" a bit on one side for during the rainy months of our "Winter". What really impressed me is that, unlike most every other tarp supplier out there, whose tarps "finished size" always ends up being 6 to 8 inches short in both length and width, THIS TARP is a full 14 x 20 feet !! Very Cool !!! My only complaint is that on a few of the grommets (2 or 3), the edges were "bent up" a bit, but I was able to just tap them down again with a rubber mallet. Only thing now is how well it will hold up to the intense sun, here in the "Inland Empire". Only time will answer this. ... show more

I used this to cover my 24' pontoon boat. The minute I started to unfold it, I noticed how heavy and durable it was. My boat is not under cover and this was a must. I know eventually the weather will take it toll on the tarp but for the last few months it has worked great.

I still have it on my bell tent in constant heat/rain finally started ripping after 35-45 mph winds but it's still holding up fairly well for 2-3 months now I can't complain for the price it has done what it's intended too, I'd give it 5 stars if I'd last at least 6 months but it's still a great tarp for the price. ... show more

This is an extremely high quality tarp. We were very pleased to see its thickness as it is to be a shelter (roof) over an outdoor porch. It’s been on for a couple months and has been through some pretty intense summer storms. It so far has held up wonderfully!!!!
