I know it's a belt, but I really like this belt, so much that I ordered a second but in the different color combo. I didn't have to trim any off, the excess just slides into belt loop. Easy to adjust and with a flick of a finger it releases just as easy. Glad I found it.

The Bulliant reversible belt was appealing because of the ability to have both a black and brown belt by reversing the buckle. The belt buckle was solidly built and the belt appeared to be well made as well. I had to shorten the belt a few inches, which was a relatively easy thing to do. Some of the reviewers complained that the belt slipped while others said it did not. I experienced both scenarios. While wearing the belt with jeans, the belt buckle slipped a little on more than one occasion. While wearing the belt on some thinner material shorts, the belt buckle did not allow the belt to slip at all. Not sure if the type of pants or thickness of the pants contributed to the belt buckle not holding the belt securely. ... show more

Pro's: -it's easy to ratchet and stays where you leave it for the most part. Being cloth it will move a little. -the design is minimal Con's: -the belt buckle is uncomfortable against the skin. If you're a guy like me and have a bit of a gut, the sharp edges will press into your skin. Very uncomfortable. -the belt material was burned to keep from fraying but wasn't finished properly. Either a metal cap is needed or better finishing when melting the point into the material. It's not a bad belt, but if you're a bigger guy I wouldn't try it unless you tuck a shirt in every day, which I don't. ... show more

Now that I have your attention, let's talk about measuring the belt BEFORE you cut it. People, People, People........A little goes a LOOOOOOONG way, so cut about an inch at a time and every time you cut it, while you are wearing the pants you will be using the belt with, put it into the buckle and see how it works for you. Is it comfortable? Can you understand how to open it, cinch it tighter? See if the pants you are wearing will be held up by it? Now, here is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO WHEN YOU DECIDE ON A SIZE YOU LIKE....... AFTER cutting, take a lighter - the kind with a FLAME on it, and hold the flame up to the end of the belt that you cut and run it back and forth across the material until it heats up to BLACK and you can see it is melting the material. You are doing this to seal the material and prevent it from fraying and unraveling like rope. Try it, you will not be sorry. ... show more

I have been wearing, or trying to wear, regular leather belts for some time. This belt solved all three of my problems. What where those problems? 1. Holes in leather belts stretch/wear out. This may be due to them using lousy, or fake, leather, but it undermines the usefulness of the belt. 2. Holes are "never" in the right place for my waist size, so they where always too loose, or too tight. 3. I have to wear specific style/color of pant's/shorts for work and, especially during Covid, trying to freaking "find" a new pair, when they wore out, which was the right type (cargo) and color... was almost impossible. This meant buying from multiple brands. Why was that a problem? Because some brands are bloody pains and make their belt loops so tight fitting that you cannot actually "get" the end of a belt to pass through more than once - in my case this meant that those lovely "leather" belts where actually 6 inches too long to "fit" and not have a whole section of the belt flopping around, uncontained, if the retainer loop shifter (or, like the holes, just eventually wore out). The last one of those issues was the biggest problem for me. What good is a belt that won't stay bloody on, because it won't "fit" through the loops on the pants, and a large part of it is just dangling around in the air? Of the three issues this was the one I couldn't live with. This Ratchet style belt is thin enough, however, that even if it wasn't a bit shorter than the leather one (which if I got it short enough wouldn't have had holes that worked for me anyway), is thin enough to fit through the loops on the pants more than once - problem solved. Now.. if we could only get freaking clothes manufacturers to stop making the loops that tight in the first place, or making "phone pockets" that are soo freaking small you can't safely put a larger, modern, phone in them, or several other bloody stupid things they keep randomly doing, from one company to the next... but, that would be wishful thinking. lol ... show more

    • Reversible Ratchet Belt
Size: 44"-52"Waist Adjustable Color: Black/Brown1843
This belt is perfect. I've had ratchet belts before but they never fit correctly and/or the ratchet mechanism was bad. This belt is a perfect fit and the ratchet mechanism holds the belt like it's supposed to. I've purchased one more in a different color.
