After getting several tarps in one or two trips on my trailer, I decided to try something else. I have been using this tarp on my trailer for over a year, and other than some expected discoloration, it's showing no signs of wear, in spite of being repeatedly punished by hours-long highway trips. It's solidly made and very durable. The only thing I'm noticing is that some water gets through now after it rains, so I'll redo the waterproofing and it should be good as new. ... show more

Got to admit, the reviews were highly encouraging, even though I was still a wee bit skeptical. Still, can’t argue with the results. I have a backyard project that started as a 5 foot long outdoor playhouse for my daughters. However, three years later, she’s still using it, she still playing in it, so I had to fix it up because the original cover it came with was absolutely destroyed by the wind and the rain in our neck of the woods. Honestly, that cover material it came with barely lasted the first year before it started to rip and tear. It was really flimsy. So I got the bright idea to not only replace the roof but extend the play area another 5 feet making it a total of 10 foot long. I originally wanted to go all fancy and put a shingle roof on it but not only would it be too heavy, but very expensive. After combing around the Internet looking for a similar multicolor material like the original (and failing) to go over the top, I just gave up and decided to get a good old tarp instead. The only problem was finding something that was 10 feet by around 8 feet. Obviously, the only source to look for something that specific is Amazon. And as always, Amazon never disappoints. Not only was it the right size, but the density of the material was nice and heavy, and I am going to need it because we get really high winds and driving rain around these parts, so time will tell if it holds up next year. Yes yes, I’ll update my review next year To show how it looks after one year of burning sun, high wind, heavy rain, cold temps and a little snow. Honestly, though, I’m already more confident because this material is thicker and way denser than the original garbage, but we’ll see. ... show more
