Beautiful chair! Put together today in 5 minutes (as a 9 month pregnant lady) and dressed it up with the perfect extra pillow from target to match my daughter’s nursery. The chair feels like it’s well made and will be comfortable. It needs to be broken in a bit but not worried about that. First off, I plan on updating this review IF I have issues with this chair. If I stay happy with it, I'll leave this as it is! I've only had it one day, and know longevity is a big concern with large purchases. My goal is to have this chair last at least 5 years, more would be a bonus. I researched and researched for about a month before buying this chair. I had heard from many moms (and what seemed like the entire reddit community) that nursery specific chairs were gimmicks and usually less comfort and quality than a less-stylish recliner from a furniture store. So originally we went that route, and spent 900 on a recliner locally. It was certainly not as aesthetically pleasing, and also was pretty plush feeling. The first recline setting was too reclined for me to nurse in as well, so we returned it. I knew 900 was out of our budget, so I was almost glad to return it! Eventually I just decided to go the nursery chair route. I really wanted this chair in our living room since I have a toddler and want to nurse near him while he plays, so it needed to be nice enough looking. I also read that this chair was firmer, and softness was an issue with the store recliner. Ultimately I'm happy I went with the mid-upper price range of nursing chairs. I knew I didn't want or need power recline, but I also didn't want a cheap frame or bad upholstery. This put me in the 500-800 dollar range. This chair has a steel frame, which could be prone to squeaking but feels very sturdy. It's lighter than I thought, so I'm curious about tipping. The fabric is softer than it looks in photos, but I poured water on it and it did bead right up and roll off! I'm hoping stains and milk will clean up easy if acted upon quickly. The fit and size of this chair feels great for my 5' 9" frame. The foot rest when reclined ends at my ankles, which doesn't bother me. The back is very straight and supportive, and I always like more lumbar support so I'll likely use the bolster it came with. The arms are comfier than I thought, and there is about three inches gap on either side of my thighs to each chair arm. The last thing I noticed that I was nervous about is that it is really NOT as hard to get out of the recline than many reviews said. For me it takes gentle pressure from my calves, and then a swift kick of the heels at the end to get it to stay down. It may wake a baby up, but i don't plan on being reclined with baby sleeping just to get up quickly after. I'd likely just rock baby to sleep and then get up. For me the recline is more for breastfeeding (not all the way reclined, but on the first setting). Over all I'm very happy with this purchase. The box came slightly banged up but the main parts of the chair are positioned so that the vulnerable parts face inward. There is a slight chemical odor but I expect it will be gone in a few days. Was skepitcal about buying a chair online. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Arrived as promised, on time and only took a week to set up delivery date. I opted for the extra $10 delivery so they would drag it into the house as it was heavy. Nice color ( grey ) Fabric is good quality and soft Swivel is smooth Will reline and swivel while reclined Easy to put together ( took all of 7 mins. ) Came packaged well Reclines pretty far, cushion is firm but comfortable Cons: A little short. I'm 5'4" and the foot rest is just below my calve. Could use another extender on the foot rest. Need to use additional pillow behind head Switch to flip foot rest is just stupid. That part of the chair is going to get filthy. And though the company touts how eco friendly they are, any fabric coated in whatever to resist water is just teflon in disguise. The world is covered in plastic! The foot rest is a little stiff to close but I don't have any sleeping babies to worry about. Swivel ring is large and the chair is heavy to move easily Over all I would recommend this chair. It's price is comparable to the quality. It is comfy but if you're tall it may be too short for you. For the price to be this great, I couldn’t pass it up! To me it reminded me of a Namesake chair but this one is sturdy, comfortable with a man that is 6’3” to sleep in, and has plenty of space to nurse a baby to sleep or cuddle. Worth every penny

I’m very pleased with this purchase. It’s very comfortable in the upright and laid back position. The boucle fabric is quite lovely. It’s not bright white but a subdued vanilla, which I find perfectly complements our decor, and I imagine will hide stains better in the long run. Note: I was worried from reading a couple negative reviews about the leg rest. I tried it myself (8 months pregnant with zero ab muscles) and it’s actually very easy. Just lean forward, bring your legs down to the ground and plant both feet, then lift one heel and move the leg rest back gently into place. Sure, it makes a click but if you do it slowly, it’s rather discreet. If you jam it down with force, it becomes loud and obnoxious, and you’re using a lot of calf/stomach muscles. Unnecessary struggle. Keyword: gently, and it’s probably better for the longevity of the furniture too. Some reviews mentioned this rocker staining their carpet so we put down some cotton fabric underneath to prevent that. ... show more

This recliner is easy to put together and extremely comfortable to sit in during those long nights of constant feedings. It’s also held up extremely well with all the spit ups we’ve had. It’s easy to clean and we’ve never had any issues with spit ups soaking through immediately. You have enough time to put the baby down and grab paper towels/whatever cleaner you use.
