Features

  • Poles are NOT included with Canopy Parts Kits. The metal conduit poles must be purchased separately. The poles (EMT - Electrical Metallic Tubing) are sold in 10' lengths at any major hardware store. A Cowboy Canopy 20' x 20' High Peak Kit uses 18 EMT poles in size 1-1/4".
  • High Peak Canopy Parts Kits have many different uses including carports for RVs, boats, motorcycles, jet skis and cars, greenhouses, sheds for outdoor storage and equipment, livestock, horse and dog shelters, shade shelters for outdoor dining, picnics and tailgating, tents for camping, party tents for outdoor events, festivals, swap meets, flea markets, farmer's markets, batting cages, golf enclosures, chicken coops and more.
  • Cowboy Canopy uses only premium quality EMT Canopy Fittings. They are made of galvanized steel and are rust resistant. All welds are finely crafted, including the eye bolts which have 360-degree welds (no tack welds). The galvanized steel thickness is a strong 16-guage. Our Fittings are built to last for decades.
  • High Peak Canopy Kits can be customized to a specific size to fit your needs. The high peak angle is 120-degrees, which means there are 7" of rise for every foot of run of the length. Knowing this information allows you to modify your pole lengths. Kits are listed in 10' increments because EMT conduit is sold in 10' poles. However, this can be changed. For example, a 20' x 20' kit can be custom fit to 14' x 20', or 12' x 18', etc.
  • Eye bolt connections on each Fitting are user-friendly and convenient. No drills, screwdrivers, or advanced skills in construction needed. Simply hand tighten the eye bolts to your poles for a fast set up and take town.
  • Acts of Nature: Cowboy Canopy is not responsible for Canopies or properties damaged due to acts of nature. This includes snow, rain, wind, floods, severe storms, or any other naturally occurring event. It is the customer's responsibility to use discretion during periods of severe weather, and take the necessary steps to ensure damage is not caused to the canopy or surrounding properties.

  • Winter carport
Couldn't get put together before snow fall last year, but in process this year. Added 2 more sections to help support snow load. This will be a great place for cars this winter. Installing metal roof panels to make the car port water and snow proof.

  • Bought one
Went together easy. The nuts for the eyebolts are welded all the way around so you can tighten them really well without them breaking. I purchased the parts for the 1 1/2 kit they have a 5/16 eyebolt. It's a "temporary structure" so you don't need a permit.

  • Very well designed canopy kit
If you use 1 1/4in x 10ft standard emt conduit tubing as the kit describes, you can construct every bit of the specified 20ft x 20ft carport/canopy. I didn’t need that large of a canopy. With a little math and a good drawing, you can construct yourself a taylor-made canopy/carport to meet your particular needs or desires. I can fit my 7ft tall 20ft long 7ft wide Ford F-250 under the downsized canopy I built with ease. If you live in a wind prone area, like the desert southwest, it’s important to mount the legs/footers either in concrete or bolted to a concrete pad. My canopy has seen 65 mph winds already, with no problems. I’m trying out 2 Harbors Freight 10x20 web tarps for the top. So far, so good. ... show more

  • Wish I had not spent the money.
Collapsed under a little wet snow. Wish I had not spent the money on it.
