Bought this on sale for a so-so knife kit to have for when I don't want to use my good knives. Honestly I bought this because I thought the knife block was cool looking but I was pleasantly surprised to feel that they're very sharp and easy to cut with. The knives I have used out of this kit seem to hold their edges well and stay sharp - I have not needed to sharpen them yet after several uses. Would recommend!

The set is beautiful and quality seems good. When unboxing, I discovered the pairing knife was missing and the Santoku knife had a permanent discoloration on the tip. Customer service responded quickly via email. They are sending the two replacement knives in the cream color instead of the blue I ordered due to not having extra stock in the blue color.

the knives are sharp enough but not even 6 months in and the handles are all cracked. i tried to contact the seller for warranty information but received no response . therefore I would advise you not to purchase these.

I have a strange obsession with my kitchen knives and have several knife blocks on my counter. I picked up these knives and was pleasantly surprised by how sharp they are; The knife block has a built in sharpener to easily and quickly sharpen them, but they were plenty sharp out of the box. The handles are made of plastic, which I certainly was not fond of. I can tolerate plastic as long as it feels ok and is durable. The feel in my hand is fine, my concern came from thee fact that two knives after a single use had started coming off of the tang and I had to shove them back on. I don't know if it was just a cheap glue that was used or if they are just on there using a tight fit, but considering this was my first use I have concern about how they will hold up in the future. Overall though, it's a pretty fantastic knife set for the price, and the handle issue can be resolved on your own, but preferably that would never have to be done.
