Having been a happy Caroma electric scooter owner for the past two years, I didn't hesitate to purchase this new 15-mile, 560W version. While my original (and much-loved) 25-mile, 819W model is no longer available in my area due to local battery regulations, this new scooter has proven to be a fantastic option for my shorter commutes. Right out of the box, the experience was impressive. The scooter was exceptionally well-packaged, ensuring it arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze, made even simpler by the thoughtfully included tool – a small but significant detail that speaks volumes about the user experience. What I particularly appreciate about this new model are the user-centric improvements. The dedicated button for the front light is a fantastic safety feature, offering quick and easy illumination. Furthermore, the upgrade to LED indicators on the display is a game-changer. It’s remarkably clear and easy to read, even under direct sunlight, a definite advantage over my previous LCD screen. While the 15-mile range perfectly suits my typical 5-mile trips, the reduced battery capacity is something to consider if you require longer distances. However, for urban commutes and short errands, it performs admirably. My past experience with Caroma's customer service, though not lightning-fast (it took a few days for an email response), was ultimately positive. They effectively resolved my issue with my first scooter. Based on that experience, I'd recommend being as detailed as possible in your initial inquiry. Including your order number, a comprehensive description of the problem, and any relevant photos or videos can significantly expedite the resolution process. Overall, I'm delighted with my second Caroma Electric scooter. It retains the quality and ease of use I appreciated in my first, with smart, practical upgrades that enhance the riding experience. I'm very impressed with this scooter. It says the weight limit is 300 lbs and I believe it. I'm 6'1", 220 lbs (235 dressed) and I fit on it just fine. I even went up the driveway and it didn't have any trouble. My daughter is 14 and my son is 12. They both fit on it perfectly well also. Here are some things I liked about it: - Simple to put together (around 20 minutes) - Smooth - Plenty of power even for larger-than-average people - Plenty fast enough to putt around the neighborhood - Disc brakes work well - Brake light, tail light, and front light - Cargo basket ... show more

This is great my son loves it it was super easy to assemble, the color was beautiful, this scooter is great. But it is so fast driving in sport mode but it’s great for climbing hills with it. Functionality is great. I love riding it. Seriously worth the money

Q3 Caroma Peak 1200: I’ve been riding it a good bit over the past few weeks and overall, I’m satisfied. It’s still early, but performs well as long as your expectations match the price. The ride is smoother than expected, though there’s some occasional rattling and squeaky brakes—nothing major, just don’t expect a Honda. Battery life and performance have both met the advertised specs, which was a key factor for me. Customer service is responsive and helpful. So far a worthwhile purchase. ... show more

The hex bolts used to screw the handlebars on are faulty. One of the hexbolt heads fell off when I screwed it in making it impossible for me to remove it to return the scooter. The back wheel went flat and needs another innertube. Day two and the scooter is not functioning and the front wheel.has gone flat as well. I have replaced both wheels with solid tires. The strain on the back is incredible after this needed adjustment After the wheels were replaced it is still only getting 12 -14 miles per charge when it was advertised to get 30 miles range. UPDATE 07/13/2023.. Also, the front motor has burned out after just 2 months of use. Total cost after 2 days riding was $250 to get solid tires and brakes redone. Brakes failed after month 1. I'm trying to get the seller to tell me what kind of motor I can buy to replace the front tire motor and also trying to get info from the seller about what kind of brake calipers to purchase to no avail. They are not answering my customer support requests. I'm 175 lbs and it's just not what was advertised. I want a full refund of the cost to purchase and the cost to ship it back. I'll change my review after I get a refund. If I can get info on how to purchase a new motor and new brake calipers the total cost of the scooter will be 350 at new and nearly 400 dollars of upkeep in the first 2 months. The media could not be loaded. I wanted to spend some time with this before I did a review. This scooter is very easy to assemble and adjust the tension on the brake lever. I was surprised at how large and sturdy the basket is and this is good since you can use it for a trip to the park or running a quick errand for some groceries. You can see some weight in the basket with a gallon jug of fluid and there was very minimal bounce over bumps. The large wheels absorb bumps well, the brake light is a great addition and this is easy to ride and control for anyone. I would definitely recommend this! ... show more
