I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this scooter/bike. It was easy to assemble, and it did come with understandable comprehensive instructions. I had previously purchased an Actbest Core 2.0 for my wife at Christmas. Being only 5' tall, she could not safely ride it. I sold that and purchased this one. IMO, this is much more practical for her. It's great for running around the development and good for the campground. It has plenty of speed for this size bike and has good battery life and is able to carry us both at once. I wanted to buy the 800W model but mistakenly ordered this one and could not change the order. However, this one still fits our needs. I think it's a good value and would probably meet a lot of folks better than the more expensive bike.

YOU NEED THIS BIKE - IT IS AWESOME!!!! No need to look any further, this e-bike has it all. I absolutely love it for many reasons, and wouldn't change a thing about it. It even has a cruise control button!! It's easy to operate and a lot of fun to ride. - Goes up to 20 MPH, very easy to slow down or stop, and it's very quick to speed up. Has hydraulic dual disk brakes. - Holds up to 330 lbs (back seat max of 55 lbs) - Takes only 3 hours to fully charge the battery! - Full battery lasts for 15-25 miles, depending on terrain. - Convenient battery display at the power button - Cruise control button is the orange one. When you get to the speed you want, just press the button and it locks it in. Then just use the brakes to slow down when needed. - Headlight is the red button next to the orange one. The light is a bright LED lamp that provides great light when riding in the dark. It is adjustable up and down just by tilting it. - I love the basket because it folds up if you don't want it open. The instructions say to use zip ties to hold it together, but I didn't use those, and find that it's plenty sturdy without them. When opening the basket, put the outer wire in between the shorter hook and the longer hook, that will keep it secured well (see photo). You can also just leave the basket off if you don't want it on at all. - Tires. It has thick 20 inch sturdy and strong tires, good for packed snow riding, trail riding, or packed beach sand riding. Does well on hills (states 15 degree max slope) and rough trails. The front suspension shocks provide a very smooth ride. Has front and back fenders for mud and water protection. - Removable battery. This is a great feature because you can remove the battery if you ride the bike somewhere where there is bad weather such as rain, snow, hail, or extreme cold, and you want to get the battery out of the weather. Bike has a waterproof rating. Also, if you ride the e-bike to work or a friend's house and you want to charge the battery, you can do so inside. The battery is locked in and not removable unless you have the key. Use the latch in the back of the seat to fold it forward in order to remove the battery. Then push the key in all the way and turn it to the left. - Foot pegs are foldable for the driver and passenger, and very easy to flip up and down. - Seat is easily adjustable by turning the lever - Has a bell to warn others that you are coming up on them. The website description talks about a horn, but there is no horn, it's just a bell. - Handles are made of nice gripping non-slip material - Front, rear, and tire reflectors help with visibility of the bike in the dark. - Kick stand is very easy to flip up and down Bike meets stringent safety standards. UL certified battery. Bike is 65 lbs. Aluminum frame. A 1-year warranty and lifetime technical support provided. YOU NEED THIS BIKE - IT IS AWESOME!!!!

Overall, the bike itself seems great. Assembly went smoothly, it took me two and a half hours to figure out how to do it with frequent breaks, the parts were in good condition, and I had no issues putting it together. I followed the instructions exactly as written and was excited to take it for a test ride. My only major complaint is that the instructions never clearly stated that the tires needed to be inflated before riding. After finishing assembly, I rode the bike and immediately heard the tires flapping. Since I had followed every step in the manual, I was confused and thought I had assembled something incorrectly. It turns out the tires needed air, but that wasn’t made clear in the setup process. While trying to fix the issue and repair the tire afterward, the valve stem ended up breaking, which created an unnecessary headache and additional expense. To be fair, the bike itself appears solid and I haven’t had any complaints about the actual product. My frustration is entirely with the lack of clear instructions regarding tire inflation before first use. A simple note telling customers to check and inflate both tires to the recommended PSI before riding could prevent a lot of confusion and potential damage. If the instructions were more complete, I would have had a much better experience. The bike seems good, the setup guidance just needs improvement.

This Caroma Peak e-bike is a beast for the money. The 500W/800W/1200W modes let you choose between range, balance, and full power. I use 500W for neighborhood rides and save 1200W for hills - it climbs steep inclines in Clayton, DE with no problem. Top speed hits ∼28mph on 1200W mode on flat ground. Battery gets me ∼25 miles using pedal assist level 3, and ∼18 miles on throttle-only. Recharge takes about 6 hours. Assembly took 45 minutes with basic tools. Comes 85% pre-built. Tires, brakes, and derailleur just needed minor adjustments. The fat tires handle gravel trails and potholes really well. Suspension fork smooths out bumps. Build feels solid. Frame is sturdy, LCD display is clear even in sun, and the headlight/brake light are bright enough for dusk rides. Disc brakes stop fast even at full speed. Only con: it’s heavy at ∼65lbs, so not fun to carry upstairs. But for commuting, errands, and weekend rides, this thing rips. Way cheaper than name brands with similar specs. If you want real power options without spending $2k+, get this. Key points to add if they apply: Range test: "Got 22 miles on mixed 800W pedal assist" Comfort: "Seat is decent, but I swapped for a gel seat for longer rides" Legal note: "1200W mode is off-road only in some areas - check local laws" Best use: "Perfect for hilly areas, trails, and beating traffic"

I’ve been using the Caroma Peak 560W electric scooter with a seat for a bit now and honestly, I’m really happy with it. The speed tops out around 20 mph which feels quick enough for city riding but still safe, and the acceleration is pretty smooth. I’ve been getting around 25 miles on a full charge. I mainly use it for short commutes and it’s been super convenient. What makes this one stand out is definitely the fat tires and the seat, it rides more like a small electric bike than a traditional scooter. It’s way more comfortable, especially on uneven pavement or small bumps, and the adjustable seat is actually a nice touch. The suspension isn’t fancy but it helps, and overall the ride feels really stable. It came mostly assembled and setup was quick. The foldable handlebars are great for storage or tossing it in the car, and the little basket on the back is more useful than I thought it would be. Build quality feels solid, nothing rattly or cheap about it and I love that the battery is removable, makes charging way easier. The brakes are responsive AND Lights are bright enough for evening rides too, which is nice for safety. All in all, it’s a fun and functional ride. I think it’s a great deal way better than I expected. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something easy to ride and good for short trips.

The bike really surprised me! It was easy to assemble (as long as you actually read the assembly manual — otherwise, like me, you might end up mounting and unmounting the handlebar, lol). The manual is very clear and easy to follow. The bike works smoothly, and I wasn’t expecting it to have cruise control that feature makes a big difference when riding. It feels very comfortable and safe, more like riding a motorcycle than a regular bike. I definitely recommend it!
