The media could not be loaded. When I first unboxed the Caroma electric scooter, it felt pretty solid and well-built for its price. Assembly was quick — mostly just adjusting the handlebar height. The adjustable handlebar is a major plus, especially since I’m 5’7” and my partner is 6’2”— both of us can ride it comfortably. Speed performance: there are 3 riding modes to meet your needs, you can adjust them by pressing “power button” and it will change the color of “S” It easily reaches around 15–18 mph on flat roads. Feels quick but still safe. The ride was smooth, good for beginners (like me) and casual rides. I consistently get about 15+ miles per full charge, which matches the specs for this model. Enough for running errands or a quick commute. Great for weaving through light traffic. I really loved adjustable handlebar. Super helpful! You can raise or lower it to fit your height perfectly. It also helps with posture, so you don’t get a sore back after longer rides. As well as wide handlebars and a roomy deck make it feel stable, even when going faster. The brakes are super safe and easy to operate. No issues at all. It’s a really lightweight unit, about 34 lbs — light enough to carry upstairs or in public transport. The folding mechanism is simple and sturdy. Folds in 5 seconds and fits in my car trunk easily. It folds quickly and locks securely which is easy to carry with one hand. Frame feels sturdy — no rattling or shaking so far. Comes with basic front and rear lights. They’re bright enough for visibility but not strong enough for really dark streets. Scooter was work. Then start powering down while riding. Only going 3mph. Fully charge. No help from seller. Don’t buy this a crap! Contact Amazon to start a return. Seller was supposed to give return label they only sent half return label. The also provide a China return address to return the scooter, which is against Amazon policy. Now Amazon has decline my return request do to in sufficient data.

I am new to this so I'm sharing my experience. You need to practice at a parking lot to understand how to manipulate. The instructions are clear but it takes practice. It isn't anything like riding a bike more like driving a car. So be careful and start slow. The hard part for me was going down hill and stopping. In a car you have your foot pedal to ease the speed but on a scooter you have to manage your fingers and hands to accelerate and brake. Starting is easy. It's the stopping that is tricky. I'm going to add a removable scooter seat. I have a bum knee so I'm trying to be careful. I don't use it in far distances and I go slow with ease. I haven't and wouldn't use this on a rainy day because the tires are made of plastic. Folding it to fit the car is great. It is heavy but not too heavy for you to lift from one spot to another. I bought a carrier bag in case I need to carry inside a store or restaurant. It folds into a size you can put in a shopping cart if you need to carry it with you. The bag case that I bought has a shoulder handle. I think, it's safer than parking it outside. Overall, it's a good price and great transportation if you are just going somewhere near by.
