I anticipated the delivery of this item more than most. As someone who doesn’t own a car and needs to get to and from work, this scooter is way more reliable and inexpensive even before I opened the box. It took about an hour to put it together, then an overnight battery charge, and finally, what they don’t tell you before you buy it, you’ll need to purchase and air pump to inflate the tires. Once you do all that, you’re in for a real surprise and one hell of a ride. I absolutely felt like a kid again, and it’s even more rewarding as I am currently 50 years old. There are three modes, each with different top speeds. 9, 15, and 20mph in modes 1,2,&3 respectively. I probably won’t ever use mode 3, as at that speed it seems to lessen the miles I can go. However, 15 mph is a good middle ground, and the LCD readout was a good choice by the manufacturer as it can always be read in the sunlight. It’s sturdy, doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart, but the battery only has a life cycle of 500 charges. For me, that’s ok because who knows where I’ll be in a year and half. Aside from the fact I wish it came in more flashy colors, there is nothing for me to complain about so far. I would recommend this for adults as I imagine a child or teenager might not be mature enough to understand or appreciate this mode of transport. Nice way to get around .I got around 17 miles on a charged battery and this scooter was delivered fast and was really easy to build and get going ,it comes with a front bag that I didn't think I would like but you can fit a bag of groceries in that thing!

I'm very happy with this scooter. I'm a retired bicycle mechanic, and lifelong cyclist. Due to a flawed knee surgery I'm unable to pedal a bike. I bought this scooter to enjoy the greenways and hard packed trails. It arrived on time and was well packed. After assembly I fully charged the battery. I want to warn others not to buy this type of scooter unless you have extra money to waste. The first one I bought had a throttle failure just after 100 miles. Then I bought another one, and its throttle failed after just over 50 miles.
