  • Quick, Sturdy Scooter, lots of fun.
Style: 20Miles-350W-Adjustable Bright Blue
Let's start with this is a fun scooter. It took all of 5 minutes to unpack it from the box, remove the shipping protection, snap in the handle bars, unfold it, and go. The controls are straight forward. The right side has a throttle to control speed. So easy to use your thumb to how fast you go. On the display module (which is on the left side) you can control max speed. WHITE, ORANGE, RED. I go full-speed whenever I use it, but with my younger girl, I knock it back to white or orange so she doesn't go flying. There is also a cruise button, once you hit that it'll keep at that speed and you don't have to worry about the throttle until you want fo change speed. If you're wondering about speed, I was impressed, works amazing on a flat road. The pickup is good, and turning radius isn't terrible either. I was able to turn around in the road (not stopping) without issue. There is a lil' headlight, but I haven't used the scooter at night. The bell is fun to have when passing people on a trail. I had it out on a gravel travel at a local state forest. It dealt with the bumps really well. So glad that it folds up easily, I put it in my trunk. I could see someone using this in the city instead of fighting car traffic. I haven't exhausted the battery yet, but we used it for around 5miles and only went down one bar. The charger is simple enough, basically a laptop style charger with a port to plug into on the side. I may need to get another for my kids, it goes a little too fast for someone to keep up pace with you on foot. I mean you could just use less throttle, but I like the speed ;) I'd recommend it for sure, great sturdy scooter. ... show more

  • Great scooter!!
We spent a while researching scooter for my wife and decided on this one. It’s a really nice, well made unit. The only bad part was, for whatever reason, the battery went faulty after the first use, but Caroma didn’t hesitate to send us a replacement. If you’re looking for an affordable, solid performing scooter, I would highly recommend this one. My wife really enjoys it! ... show more

  • My 9 year old took it from me, now I have to get another.
There are a lot of words to describe something that I would fall in love with, this scooter is one of those things. Every time we travel as family, to difference cities, we always rent scooters on the streets. It is nice and easy way to move around the city. This time I decided to get my own scooter. The box came in good shape with no damage, and it took me took about 10 minutes or less to put it together. So what are good things about it and some ehhh things about it: - Price is reasonable for 500w scooter, but it would be even nicer if shipping was included. Although this scooter is not the strongest of them all, they also have 800w ver from the same company and even stronger from other companies, but I think 500w is fair. It has 3 different speed modes which can take you 10,15 and 20 mph. However, to reach 20 you really will have to be on nice flat surface and perhaps weight less than 185lb. I’m 185lb and max I could pull on this thing was 18 mph. However, my son who is 9, possibly could reach that speed tho I didn’t let him :) max he was allowed 10 mph. The battery holds good as well. But I did notice if you would use higher speed, the battery would discharge faster. With slowest speed you probably can travel much farther you don’t have to change as often. Breaks are strong but they are on the front. So be careful pressing hard or you will fall over. - Design is nice. I was never a fan of wires or cables all over. Sleek design what made me pick this model. Lights are at the front, rear and also by the stand. Although I like the headlight design, I was not really impressed with the headlight quality. If you look closely at the headlight when it shut off, you could see red wire inside and its kind of obvious. I think this is the part when quality suffers a little. Folding option is always nice, however; with few uses, the mechanism that click the folding steering bar in place hand to be adjusted. The display is easy to read and modes are easy to adjust. The scooter has cruise control; you can set it can don’t have to hold the trigger. Very nice feature. However, I found you cannot really set cruise control to speed you prefer, lets say 6 mph. It only set to max speed of each speed setting. Not sure if this is how they programed them from the factory but kind of strange. One last part to mention, the cable break is kind of on the way to the headlight. Sure with a little help you can move it away or zip-tight it but still something perhaps developers missed. - So, even though I found few small flows, I will still buy another one of these scooters especially now that my 9-year-old took it over and I’m very sad….lol ... show more

  • Accelerator Broke Off After 2 months
Style: ‎15Miles-250W-Black
My 13 year old son purchased this scooter for himself, was pretty happy with it, and rode it for only 2 months before the accelerator broke off under his finger while riding. Now it's unusable and he is incredibly disappointed. Reviews said the scooter was well made, but when the switch breaks off under normal use that's not an indicator of it's reliability. ... show more

  • Way too much fun. Handles a 250+ pound rider without issues
Super fun scooter that is a great price when comparing the top speeds, rider weight limits, and distance ranges to other ones. There is virtually nothing to put together other than 4 small allen screws, and arriving with almost a full charge, I was out on my first ride within 10 minutes of getting it. I am pretty big guy at 250+ pounds and I felt totally stable standing on the deck, which is wide enough to have both feet on without feeling cramped. The digital screen is large and easy to read. The built in headlamp and tail light are both bright and functional. Gives off enough light to ride at full speed with confidence. When breaking the full length of the deck on both sides flash in color, which is really attention getting. The left side of the handle bar has a built in bell that's positioned where you can easily ring it without having to move your hand. Dead simple to fold and once folded you can use the neck of the scooter like a handle to carry it around. Looking forward to trying to commute to work with it. Such an improvement over a bicycle, no more sweating and worrying about where to lock up the bike. Just fold the scooter and bring it inside with you. ... show more
