  • Great Customer Service
Size: for Quest 3
The product is great. So easy to set up and getting working. It charges quickly. It isn't overly large and doesn't take up much more space than the headset itself. The only tricky part is, depending on your head strap, you may need to figure out how your head strap needs to be positioned when you place it in the cradle so the magnetic connection is correct and it will charge. Overall not that difficult to to do. My tag line mentioned customer service....well...it's really top notch. I had my charger for a few months and it started to not work properly. It wouldn't charge correctly, it would show as fully charged (green light indicator) even when I just got done using it. The head set was not fully charged and the indicator was saying was. I would fiddle with it and eventually it would then...after a while it wouldn't ever charge. I went on their discord channel and asked if anyone was having similar issues. I immediately received a response from the Prism XR team advising me they would send a DM. I received the DM, they asked a few questions, and then advised they would send a replacement free of charge. They wouldn't have any in stock to send for about three weeks, so they offered to send me out one of their battery belts, free of charge, so I would have something until the chargers were available. So I waited the three weeks and followed up with the contact I had from the DM message...the new...free of charge...charger was already on its way to me. He provided me the tracking number and I received it a day or two later. In today's world you don't ofter find companies who stand behind their products like this. They went above and beyond to make it right. I am very with the product and very impressed with their customer service. Anyone who is looking for some VR accessories, I would suggest you check out Prism XR...these guys are great! ... show more

  • Love the Charging Station! Love a Company that Stands Behind their Product!
Size: for Quest 3
I’ve had this charger for about 9 months. I’ve loved it for so many reasons. It is a well thought out unit that stores and charges my headset and controllers. It takes up very little space. I tried another before finding this one. It didn’t work as advertised. This one always has my headset and controllers fully charged and at the ready. Everything is ready to go at a moments notice. This also works with BOBOVR S3 Pro Battery Strap. The stand is adjustable to accommodate several different headsets. The included rechargeable controller batteries work seamlessly. They still function like they are brand new. If you are looking for a speedy, efficient headset charging station for you Meta Quest 3, look no further! This is the charging station to purchase! I recently had an issue with beeping and the company rectified the situation immediately! After 9 months, this company stood behind their product and made it right! I was delighted to have purchased a charging station from a company that stands behind their product! I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from this company because they believe in their products and stand behind them! ... show more

  • Good form factor and features. PrismXR Customer Service is Great!
Size: for Quest 3
**Update 7/16/2025** Elevated from 3 to 5 stars! PrismXR Customer Service immediately responded to me both through email response and here on Amazon. Great response and they took care of me. They stand behind their products! Highly recommend this dock and the controller grips that match. ------ *Original Review* Just received from 2025 Prime Day sales. Was excited as it seems to check all my desired boxes. Unfortunately, the dock won't charge the right controller (**edit 7/16/25 PrismXR CS took care of the issue and all is well now!**). Sent an email to PrismXR's support. Will update the review based on resolution. Pros: + Setup is easy + I like the footprint: Low height (6" at the Quest 3, 7" at highest on my elite style strap), compact width (slightly less than 9" across), and good use of the +/- 12" depth that is created by aftermarket elite headstraps + Comes with everything you need (including a 30W charging brick, decent length USB-C cable, rechargeable NiMH AA batteries and battery doors for both controllers) + Includes an attachable, for/aft adjustable, rear headstrap rest to support a halo or elite style headstrap + The new battery doors for charging fit more snug than the original controller battery covers + Compatible with PrismXR's controllers straps that don't need to be removed to charge the controllers Cons: - New out of the box my dock appears to be faulty. The right controller does not charge. Swapped left and right controller batteries to see if one was bad, but both batteries charge when in the left controller (**edit 7/16/25: PrismXR CS took care of me and all is well now!**) - Requires a stick on magnetic positioner for the bottom of the headset to attach to the dock's magnetic charging pins. Installing is easy with the included plastic alignment template and they also provide a spare, but not sure if this will interfere if you have a third party cover. Really hoping PrismXR's customer support is good and comes through with a resolution quickly. I really like the ease of use and compact footprint on my desk. Will update review based on their support. ... show more

  • Fast, Quiet, and Well Designed Charging Dock, but Controller Fit Holds It Back
Size: for Quest 3
The PRISMXR Carina D1 fast charging dock does a lot of things right, and overall it’s a solid charging solution for the Meta Quest 3. This review is specifically for the version where the controllers don’t always sit correctly in the dock, which is an important distinction. Because of that issue, this lands at four stars instead of five. Starting with the positives, the charging performance itself is excellent. The headset charges quickly and reliably, and having a dedicated dock instead of cables scattered around makes a big difference in everyday use. Dropping the headset onto the dock at the end of a session feels clean and convenient, and it keeps everything organized and ready to go. The no-beeping design is a big plus as well. There are no annoying sounds when placing the headset or controllers on the dock, which is especially nice if your setup is in a bedroom or shared space. Build quality is good and feels premium enough for a Quest 3 accessory. The dock has a clean, modern look that fits well with the Quest’s design, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It looks good sitting out on a desk or shelf and feels like a proper charging station rather than an afterthought. The headset connection is stable, and once placed correctly, charging starts as expected. Where this dock falls short is the controller seating. The controllers don’t always sit perfectly in their charging positions, which means you have to pay closer attention when placing them down. Sometimes they feel slightly misaligned, and you may need to adjust or reseat them to make sure they’re actually charging. This isn’t constant, but it happens often enough to be noticeable and a little frustrating. A charging dock should feel effortless, and the controller fit prevents it from being truly drop-and-go. Once the controllers are seated correctly, they do charge fine, but the lack of a consistently secure fit takes away from the otherwise polished experience. With better alignment or a more forgiving cradle design, this would easily be a five-star product. Overall, this is still a very good charging dock. It’s fast, quiet, looks great, and works well for the headset itself. If you’re okay with taking an extra second to make sure the controllers are seated properly, it’s a solid choice. With improved controller fit, this would be excellent. As it stands, four stars feels fair. ... show more

  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH
Size: for Quest 3
This is, without a doubt, the absolute worst product of any type I have ever purchased in my entire life. The problem is all of the contacts are spotty, both on the controllers and the headset. There is a very loud BEEP that occurs when a device starts charging, and since the connections are spotty it beeps very loudly CONSTANTLY and never really charges anything. I can't count the number of times this piece of junk has woken me up at night. The magnetic spring charger for the HMD rarely aligns with the charging pins, so it can take a minute or more of messing around with the headset alignment on the dock before it actually starts to charge, and I'll often come back to the headset not charging at all and completely depleted. Additionally, sometimes the charging pins don't come up to meet the headset either because the spring is too tight or the pin housing on the dock gets stuck and I have to pry it out with a knife before trying fruitlessly to align the HMD on the dock. After only a few months the magnetic sticker on the HMD that engages the spring loaded charging pins on the dock no longer sticks. It falls off constantly. I contacted the company for a replacement and haven't heard back yet. It's honestly the most annoying and frustrating product I've ever purchased, but if it worked as intended it would be great. I cannot recommend this product. At all. Please avoid it. It's seriously one of the worst things I've ever purchased. Edit: I purchased the replacement magnet for $9.99. It comes with the alignment tool for application and two replacement magnets. I cleaned the application area with 99% IPA and allowed it to fully dry before applying the sticker with great force for at least 30 seconds. The first one fell off after a few hours. So did the second one. So the adhesive just isn't sufficient. When it was working, before both stickers fell off, both controller chargers were disconnecting constantly, which wasn't happening in the months of downtime when I didn't have a sticker applied to the HMD. This tells me that the included charging cable isn't even sufficient to charge all 3 devices at the same time. I'm gobsmacked at just how awful this product is. I'd give it negative 5 stars if I could. It is literally the worst thing I have ever purchased in my life. I've now wasted like $80 on this piece of junk and it's finally in its rightful home, in my trash can, and I could not be happier to finally be rid of it. ... show more

  • Fast convenient easy to use dock charges Quest 3 setup automatically and looks like art piece design
Size: for Quest 3
I tried a couple of different charging docks, and this PRISMXR Carina D1 was the most compact, convenient and easy to use. It has a nice clean stylish design that displays the Quest 3 like an art piece, and keeps everything securely in place and readily accessible. When I'm done using my Quest 3, I just put my controllers and goggles on the dock, and it all connects and charges automatically without needing to plug anything in. It utilizes the Quest 3 bottom charging contacts so it leaves the USB-C port available so I can keep my BOBOVR S1 Pro head strap and extra battery plugged in. PRISMXR also includes rechargeable batteries for the controllers that charge in the dock, what a bonus! The dock has a back lift that supports a scooped back head cradle, and the front dock has room for my AMVR FC4A face interface that has positioning knobs at the sides. PRISMXR even includes a fast power supply and USB-C cable so the dock charges pretty quickly. This dock is pretty adaptable and works great for my Quest 3 setup. When I had an issue, PRISMXR responded and resolved very quickly with excellent customer support. They really stand behind their product. Great quality product and company. ... show more

  • UPDATED REVIEW: The New Unit Works Perfectly!
Size: for Quest 3
TLDR: Excellent customer service and a perfectly working replacement has solved my previous issues! I'm now happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice stand to charge your headset and controllers! UPDATED REVIEW 11/11/24: After my original review (see below for details), the seller reached out to me and stated they identified a problem with insufficient power on a small batch of units. They offered to send me an additional unit that had been tested thoroughly to ensure the problem had been corrected and I would not experience the connectivity issues again. They kept me up to date throughout the process with timing info and the tracking number. When the new unit arrived, I set it up exactly like I had with the previous units, but this one connected properly the first attempt and I have not had any issues with it so far. Also, it is worth mentioning that I have the Kiwi aftermarket head strap and it fits on this stand very well. There is an adjustable arm on the back of the stand that props it up very well. One small critique I still have is regarding the beep it makes when you put the headset or controllers on the charger. Realistically, this probably will not bother the majority of people, and now that each piece connects properly on the first try it is much less of an issue than it was on the defective units earlier, but personally I would still like the option to mute that. However, even with the beeps, I would recommend this stand to anyone that wants to easily charge their headset and controllers, while also having a convenient place to put them while not in use. **Original Review Below (October 2024): Despite proper magnetic alignment on my headset, the charging dock does not connect properly on the first try 90% of the time. I must repeatedly attempt to place the headset on the charger for it to eventually work after numerous attempts. I tried 2 different units and both had this issue (the 2nd box arrived opened, so possibly a return from another unhappy customer before they tried sending it my way). I’m returning both. That’s already bad enough, but to make things worse, it beeps every single time you connect AND also beeps when telling you the connection didn’t work. There is no way to disable the beeping (which in my opinion should be an option even if the device worked 100% of the time). Many people do not want to hear a beep when they connect the headset at night and others are sleeping. Definitely not when it beeps dozens of times before you finally get it to connect properly. I should have listened to other reviews with this same connection problem, but I thought maybe the company had corrected their quality control issues. They definitely have not and you should avoid this product.**(SEE UPDATED REVIEW AT THE TOP)** ... show more

  • I really wanted to like this. Kinda pointless for anyone using a headstrap with batteries.
Size: for Quest 3
So... its compact, it charges your headset and it gives you rechargeable batteries in the controllers. It is probably the best charging dock of this type for the Quest 3 as the magnetic snap on for the charger is definitely a good idea. But... most ppl seem to be going with some sort of battery strap like one of the BoboVR straps or similar and don't really worry about the Quest 3 battery itself. So a charging dock becomes a little pointless when you're putting the headset down with a full or 90%+ charge on it every time and then dock the batteries separately. Mine also would not maintain a proper connection with my Quest 3 no matter what I did. The orange light on the headest would be on but the light on the dock would be alternating green/orange, random beeping and I don't really trust it with a $500 headset if its malfunctioning. The controller covers... not induction, magnetic. Doesn't really matter except you can't use grips and the covers themselves fit badly. They clip on, but they don't fit like OEM covers do. I also never got them to go above 60% according to the in screen percentages on the Quest 3 but that might just be a capacity difference vs a normal AA? Dunno. Its also so compact that putting the controllers in after you put the headset down is a pain especially if you have a halo headset. I like to put the headset down first so I'm not looking through the cameras when I'm putting all my stuff away. Tbth, just get a good set of grips and swap AA batteries whenever you need or buy eneloops with a wall charger if you have to have rechargeable. If you have a stock Quest 3 and aren't using any sort of battery strap, 1 - enjoy like 2 hours of playtime before having to recharge it and 2 - hope it connects ok then this is probably the best charging dock. For me, I'm returning it as its malfunctioning and the controller battery doors fit horribly and I'm grabbing a $25 AMVR stand and some $25 AMVR grips. Will hold my headset and halo strap nicely and I won't have to worry about any issues and I can use a good set of velcro strap grips with battery doors. ... show more
