These brushes are so good! They're very soft and the dense ones are still dense without being pokey. There's a ton of brushes included in this set too. I love the shape of the face brushes. There's a huge variety of eye brushes for those of you who use more than one. I probably won't get a ton of use out of those, but it's still nice that they're included. This 15pc makeup brush set is quality. The brushes have dense fibers, and you can tell they do when you press down on them. The are also really soft. These are not flimsy or light brush handles, these are thick and solid. The larger ones have some weight to them over others I have tried. I feel like I have a good grip with the handles on these. I like the options this set provides with a brush or two for any makeup application. I especially appreciate that this set includes 2 foundation brushes, one is a contoured foundation brush and the other is round. Both brushes are good for creams and liquid makeup. The color on the handles is burgandy red, but I like to call them blood red or garnet. These are quality brushes, nothing is loose, and I didn't see any shedding as I manipulated the synthetic fibers. ... show more

This is a nice brush assortment with very soft bristles (on every brush, so if you need stiffer bristles this may not be for you). The larger bushes had some netting-like stuff on them and the smaller ones had plastic, to protect the bristles. I quickly felt them and while they could be softer, the value for the price is great! Sure, you can spend the same about and get a single brush if that's your thing. But if you're looking for a wide variety of brushes for under $21 at this writing, this is a great value. It has 15 different synthetic brushes for face and eyes. I generally use a foam blender for foundation and concealer, but I'll give those 4 brushes a try. The other 11 are a definite need for me. They all seem to have the appropriate softness/stiffness. None of the brushes shed and the ferrules seem tight on the deep red plastic handles. They all have fairly long handles--so they're 6+ inches long. If I get a few years out of these I'll be more than satisfied. ... show more
