I have been looking for a jacket that is warm, but not cumbersome, and can hold up during heavy outdoor activities. Knowing the durability and dependability of Carhartt products I grabbed this shirt-jacket as soon as I saw it. The color is really pretty and subtle and the fabric has a soft canvas feel to it. It is not lined, but the material is heavyweight enough for plenty of warmth. I ordered a size up to use this for layering and it has worked out perfectly for me. I have worn it gardening, hiking, hauling firewood, working in the field and hunting. It has held up like a champ! It washes well and has not shrunk (although I only use cold water to wash and extra low heat to dry). I am really pleased with it and would definitely recommend it. I'm thinking I may need it in pink too ;)

This shirt is really nice. It's thick and high quality and structured. The green plaid color is pretty and flattering on me! Even though it is a thicker and slightly stiffer fabric, it's still very comfy. The fit is great on me, it's got a feminine shape but it's not too slim.

My wife is enjoying this outside in our cooling fall weather. It’s very sturdily made for outdoor work, or relaxing with room for another layer or sweaters underneath if you need to keep warm. XL was a bit of an upsize for her to allow layering. Overall it’s very well made and comfortable and fit as expected and from a great brand.

I'd say this fits super true to size. I got a small (5'7" and 145 lbs). It fits great but I would have gotten a medium if I wanted a bit of an oversize fit. Super soft!
