I have 4 pair of the brown/tobacco in 2x and 2 pair of the black. The brown ones are fantastic - great fabric, good weight, excellent pockets, solid. I wear them every day for work. I got the black pairs because I loved the convenience of the pockets and the comfort of the fabric and cut for non-work wear. But the fabric of the black pairs is not the same as the brown - thinner, less stretch, stiffer, and the pockets appear to be a different shade of black. After less than 10 wearings, the back seam on both black pairs have started to both rip out and run. None of that has happened with the brown pairs that get harder use and more wearings.

The most comfortable work pants I’ve ever worn. I never change when I get home from work anymore (which I know is gross). Also, I’ve had thick thighs since I emerged from the womb thousands of years ago and I swear I’ve worn a hole/rip in every pair of work pants I’ve ever owned. Having your a** hanging out of your ripped pants on a construction site is really not wonderful. I’ve had these pants (first pair) for a while now and they show no signs of slowing down. Also, no chafing in the top-of-my-thighs-meets-crotch-of-pants area. I’m completely average weight. Just have always had thick thighs resulting in endless issues with even the toughest of pants. I’m completely in love with the comfort and durability of these pants and the fact that they absolutely function as a trades-worthy work pant

I’m a heavy equipment operator and I love these! They’re a little heavy. They’re a unique material. Not suuuuuper great for the really hot summer and outside work but still manageable. Either way, I think they’re comfortable, flexible, they’re not jeans, but look like jeans. I do wish they had belt loops. But not a deal breaker. I’m 5’6. 220LBS. Ordered an XL and I love the fit.

I really like these pants. Perfect for walks, hikes, training my dog, and motorcycle rides. Really anything outdoors where I want the comfort of a legging, but with m durability and pockets. I really really wish Carhartt would make a high waisted version of these though! That would make them ideal!

I have had these for a few months now and anytime I do outside work on the garden, mowing the lawn, or building projects, these are the pants I wear. PROS: the material is thick. That was the first thing I noticed when taking them out of the package. There is no chance of getting a hole in these. The pockets are a huge plus. The two front pockets are actually usable and so are the back pockets. I never worry about anything falling out of them and I will often store my pencil, screws, phone, and even my smaller measuring tape. Then you have two additional pockets on the right leg that are also great. Cons: the sizing is definitely big in my opinion. I wear a large in every pair of pants I have. In jeans I typically wear a 10-12 depending on sizing. From all the reviews I saw, people said they were small. These are a little big. I can wear them but they definitely need to be tighter I’m not docking a star though because overall I can still wear them and now that I know my right size, I’ll just get more.
