  • Nice and warm
Size: Medium Color: Black/Grey
This is my second pair of Carhartt mittens. They're pretty warm and comfortable. They're soft and not bulky and can be folded and stuffed into my coat pocket easily. CONS: My first pair's outer layer of the finger area broke loose and started to peel after two years. My guess is the material cannot stand the folding and bending. ... show more

  • Great for biking
Size: Large Color: Black
I wear these bicycling at low temperatures. They are extremely effective. They are better than hand guards and a lot simpler than heated grips or gloves. Once you press your palm into the handlebar grip you can then fold your fingers and the rest of the mitten follows along. The second glove takes some practice getting on efficiently since your gloved hand has lost dexterity, but you should have it down in no time. Again you can press your lower palm of your gloved hand against your torso or leg to help. Another trick is to start bending your fingers at the knuckle first. Normally we bend our fingers with the outer joints first and move down the joints to the knuckles. Practice going the opposite direction a couple times. Flip the gloves inside out after each use. Otherwise they can stay moist for days. I highly recommend these for bicycling. They are many times better at keeping your hands warm compared to winter gloves with fingers. It is night and day. ... show more

  • Warm, Sturdy
Size: X-Large Color: Black/Grey
The mittens are warm and comfortable with plenty of room to to manipulate larger items . They're made for warmth and protection rather than dexterity. Outside temperatures are at 15F with no snow, We'll see how they stand up to moisture when snow comes. So far they are sturdy and seem to be well made. ... show more

  • To be honest I sent them back.
Size: X-Large Color: Black/Grey
They seem to be decent quality. Fit true to size. I like that you can put a hand warmer inside with your hand. Wrist area seemed tight even with strap loose. The inside material moves around and I don’t like that. I’m not sure it’s a problem. Just not for me.

  • Good mittens but may run small for you
Size: X-Large Color: Brown/Black
Well made, keep me warm most days in our northern mountain climate. Originally bought large after measuring hand size with chart on listing but found I had to send them back for extra large. My measurements were toward the top of the measurement chart but within chart parameters for my hand size. I can't tell how well they will hold up but having other Carhartt clothing I expect they will be fine. ... show more

  • WARM MITTENS
Size: Large Color: Black/Grey
I wanted a pair of mittens for this years going to the snow and wanted some that keep my hands warm and these do a great job. I have worn them going to a walk on a cold evening and my hands were the warmest part of my body. The look great and I like the hooks so you can hook them together and the straps on the wrist to keep them even tighter so snow of other things won't slide into the mittens. My wife liked them after she saw them and so I needed to get another set of mittens for her and she loves her insulated/waterproof mittens also. ... show more

  • Kept fingers toasty in 13°F
Size: Medium Color: Dark Grey/Black
These keep my fingers very warm at 13°F weather while riding my electric unicycle at 20 mph. After 20 minutes, my thumbs were hardly even cold and could’ve easily been tucked in with the fingers and warmed back up in a minute. At 25° my hands were sweating. I actually wish there was some sort of port you could open up over the side of the palm by the pinky to air them out. These are the best mittens I’ve ever had. ... show more

  • Warm, but do not breath.
Size: X-Large Color: Black/Grey
Tough, warm gloves, that do not breath. Moisture from sweat builds up fast and the gloves are a pain to dry.
