Made with ultrasoft insulation, waterproof inserts, and sweat wicking technology, these gloves will keep your hands warm and dry when the temperature plummets. Durable, reinforced glove shells with a grippy palms allow your hands to effectively work outside on cold days. Soft fleece cuffs have adjustable wrist straps to keep out snow and slush. A clip off the wrist conveniently keeps gloves together for times you are not wearing them, and the nose wipe often comes in handy. Your hands are your tools. Mn is -7 with little wind and these gloves are really good. I was outside for a good amount of time and it kept my hands hot. Only downside side is that my jacket sleeves don’t fit over the gloves but it also prevented snow from getting in. Another downside is that I wear a watch. Checking the time is a hassle do due to gloves being long. Update* Driving the forklift outside for a few hours and hands do get cold but not suffering cold ... show more

The gloves are well made and fairly warm. However, they are pretty snug for XL. Never bought gloves greater than XL, but if I ordered them again I would order XXL.

These Carhartt gloves are a solid choice for anyone who spends time outdoors in cold or snowy conditions. The best feature is the built-in sleeve that extends up the wrist and fits under or over your jacket, keeping snow, wind, and cold air from sneaking in. It really makes a difference when shoveling, snowblowing, or working outside for long stretches. The gloves are thick, warm, and durable—just what you’d expect from Carhartt. The grip is decent, and the inside lining feels soft without being bulky. They do take a little time to break in, and the extra sleeve can feel snug at first, but once you get used to it, it’s a big upgrade from standard gloves. Just used them to plow the first snow of the season herein teh North East.....Great gloves......Unlike my other gloves in the past, these gloves certainly kept my hands warm throughout the plowing ...the only drawback was there was a bit of difficulty getting the pinky finger in because the insulation got a bit bunched up making it difficult to place the finger in the correct position ....once in place the insulation gave me enough room when the glove was put on again..... ... show more
