The gloves are well made, as usual with Carhartt clothing. Well insulated but not especially thick, so far I've worn them in single-digit temps in the wind and my hands stayed warm. Fit is excellent, true to size for my size L hands, fingers aren't too long or narrow, the gloves slide on and off easily. The elastic at the wrists is just right, enough to keep wind and water out but not so tight as to be noticeable. Length is just right, they extend about 2 inches over the wrist, not too long or short. Definitely very water resistant, snow doesn't penetrate or soak the material at all. Using them with a cell phone is a hit or miss proposition; about half the time the screen doesn't detect finger movement, but despite various reviews and how Carhartt described the gloves, I didn't expect that to work and I couldn't care less that it doesn't. All things considered I can't imagine a better glove in terms of bang for the buck. ... show more

These gloves are perfect for my husband. They fit great, keep his hands warm, but he is able to still use his hands easily. He works outside for most of his day, but still needs to be able to use his hands to work. These gloves are perfect for that as he is still able to grip tools while working. These gloves do their job when it comes to keeping your hands warm! They also appear to be waterproof, havent fully tested that out yet. The touchscreen functionality works alright, not as great as I was hoping. The gloves are much bulkier than expected. I wanted to really love these. While they are very comfortable, they don't really work for wind, even though they're called wind fighters. My hands got cold within 5 minutes of being outside in the chilly winds. These might work if it's not too cold, but if you're looking for a real winter glove, these aint them. ... show more

Works pretty well with my phone's touchscreen. They are easy to put on, and I wear a size medium in regular gloves, and mediums fit perfectly. They seem pretty warm, nice color, little bulky, but that's to be expected.
