They will work well for driving, general use on a cold day, and they pair nicely with casual to dressy attire. His hands are of average size. However, the description states it’s easy to use your phone while wearing them. While holding it is no problem, pressing buttons is difficult if not impossible. Wonderful gloves! I bought them to drive my open BMW convertible in 30 degree weather. I have large hands, so I ordered XL and they fit like a glove! They are very comfortable and keep my fingers toasty in the cold weather. I was aware of previous complaints of the initial smell. These indeed did have an odor to them. So, I propped them open and left them on my workbench in the garage to air out for a couple of days.
