I will be the first to admit that when I typically buy something I need I go with the cheapest possible solution. There are exceptions to this but footwear has never been one of them. I work on a farm so my boots take a beating. Usually I can get about a year out of a $60 pair from walmart. This year however my new pair didn't even make it a year, the interiors wore out and I was getting blisters and places wear it was rubbed raw on my feet. So I gave in, did some research into some more quality boots and gave these a shot. I have bought Carhartt coats and hats before and know what a quality brand they are. I will go beyond saying that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and say that they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. Even when I put gel insoles into the other shoes/boots. I've already put them through some paces testing out the waterproofing and composite toe and they did not disappoint. My feet remained dry and safe. When combined with a pair of the Carhartt Men's Force socks they feel amazing. I worked a 13 hour shift doing a multitude of things and being on my feet all day. Climbing on and off trailers for a good 7 of those hours. And ONLY THEN did my feet really start to bother me at all, my feet would have been dying by the end of that in my old boots. If these last for a few years then I definitely know what my next pair of boots will be.

Great boots, I had a pair of the 6in boots when I worked in an auto shop they lasted almost 2 years which is great considering most boots only ever lasted me 6-8 months. These 8in boots with the insulation have been great thus far. Break in was a little tougher than I thought but no worse than a good pair of cowboy boots. I work building and ground maintenance for a large apartment complex and these boots are perfect, light enough to go up and down the stairs from the third floor units all day but the composite toe gives that extra security when working with heavy appliances and the like. Good ankle support for doing grounds work and standing on ladders for extended times. Water proofing and insulation is great for dealing with flooded units and blocked storm drains. Overall good boots for the money.

I had these boots a little over a month and the back heel ripped wide open. I usually work out in the elements. I took them off after an easy office day and saw the rip. I didn't catch or snag it on anything. $200 boots should last a lot longer than that. Carhartt customer service was terrible. I had emailed them all the photos they needed multiple times. I kept getting lost in the system. I have loved their work clothes, terrible boots. I have not been the only one with this problem. I will definitely be buying a different brand of boots in the future. Amazon was amazing and offered me a full refund. Thank you amazon!

I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic and boots rarely last me over 9 months before something is “blown out” at the seams or ruined because they’re soaked in diesel, transmission fluid, oil or something else. These boots have lasted over 1 year thanks to the toe and heel guards. They’re cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I’m definitely buying these again. Can’t go wrong with these. I typically do not written reviews but this one needed to be done. Fellas, if you’re looking for a booth that lasts, buy these. I’ve tried I don’t know how many pairs of different boots over the last 6 years and I’ve finally found a pair I’ll buy again. These are it.

I purchased these boots for my husband a few months ago. He's an internet service technician and is always climbing roofs, walking through all kinds of terrain, and just generally working hard. He worked 60+ hours last week in these boots and his feet weren't killing him afterwards like they had been in the past. They fit perfectly, and stay comfortable. And they hold up so well, he'll typically go through shoes quick so I'm surprised that after a few months these are not showing any wear or tear.
