Warm as warm is going to be. Good price, seems durable. Sherpa lining is nice addition though I wish the whole thing was Sherpa, may be too warm at that point. The current Sherpa placement does have science behind it. Isn’t to bulky. The rain defender does work but don’t expect it to be a Helly-Hanson rain jacket that gets you through a tsunami. It does run a little small I got a medium and am 5’ 9” at 170 lbs, it fits however as in other reviews when you reach up it will expose your abdominal area. I would go for a large if bought again. However with the current state of this jacket being perfectly fine that won’t be for awhile. With that being said I have recommend this jacket to several people as well as will gift it to a buddy for his birthday this fall. Buy it just go one size up. ... show more

Fits slightly larger than expected but this is one of the warmest coats I’ve own Could use a better pocket on the inside but that’s a minor issue

    • It's warm, but...
It's like a square, medium was too big and I missed the return window to exchange it for a small. I bought it at end of December and only wore it maybe 3 times. I felt like a clown in it. It's shaped like a square and looks like a square even when wearing it. The collar rubs up on your face cause it sits too high up. I really wish I swapped it out for a small. It's definitely a good quality coat but the shape of it(at least this medium size) is too boxy. I normally wear a small in carhartt, but my wife talked me into getting a medium(for layering purposes), and I shouldn't have listened haha. ... show more
